Cyber Security Awareness Campaign Successfully Conducted at Apple Academy, Indore

Indore | With the objective of creating awareness about cyber crimes and promoting digital safety among students, a Cyber Security Awareness Program was successfully organized at Apple Academy, Chandan Nagar, Indore, under The Project CyberShield. The initiative was jointly organized by Naksh Foundation, TechDefenders (The Cyber Security Experts), and Aim for the Awareness of Society (AAS), Indore.

Speaker

The session was led by Ujjwal Kumawat, Founder of TechDefenders (The Cyber Security Experts), Cyber Security Expert, ISEA Master Trainer, Cyber Saathi — Naksh Foundation, and Cisco Certified Ethical Hacker. He educated students about various cyber threats, including phishing attacks, malware, ransomware, online frauds, social media scams, identity theft, UPI frauds, and other emerging cyber crimes. The session also highlighted the importance of cyber hygiene, strong passwords, safe internet browsing, and responsible digital behavior.

Students were guided on how to report cyber crimes through the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (www.cybercrime.gov.in) and the Cyber Crime Helpline (1930). In addition, they received valuable insights into career opportunities in the field of cyber security and the skills required to build a successful career in this rapidly growing industry.

Drawing Competition

To make the program more interactive, TechDefenders (The Cyber Security Experts) organized a Cyber Security Quiz Competition and a Drawing Competition. Students enthusiastically participated in both activities, making learning about cyber safety engaging and enjoyable. Outstanding participants were appreciated for their active involvement and creativity.

The program concluded with students taking a pledge to adopt safe digital practices and spread cyber security awareness among their families and communities. The initiative was conducted under the mission “Har Ghar Ho Cyber Surakshit” (Every Home Cyber Secure), with the vision of building a digitally aware, responsible, and cyber-secure society.
