I’ve been watching this YouTube Channel consistently for weeks now: Good Storytelling

Sleslor is a really talented story teller from the UK. Listening to him is like listening to Vincent Price or something. Personally I dislike how many people listen to AI narrative slop, I mean, I’ve seen dystopian scifi movies where this happens in a scene and it makes me sick to see it in real life. The AI voice has like an urgency in its voice that is so annoying. They make commercials with this voice and it makes me want to throw my tv screen out the window — I hate that voice so much! But Sleslor tells stories that viewers send in to him and you don’t know if they are real or fake. It’s like The Twilight Zone when you listen to Sleslor. He has stories from truckers seeing strange things at truck stops, realtors selling castles to vampires and other odd stories. If they are all real that means we are surrounded by aliens, invisible beings, monsters all while we go through our daily life and to work. A lot of the stories are set in the “boonies” and in isolated places so monsters would hide out there, naturally, but some seem to like interacting with us, in society, and these stories are creepy, but highly interesting and entertaining. Sleslor has a great voice with an English accent. He likes to go hiking and tell these stories on video. He has long brown hair and usually has his face in the center of the screen so he is looking at you. He says he interviews these anonymous people who have had these experiences over Zoom call or somewhere and then tells their story on YouTube. When he gives details he commonly uses words that don’t fit, as if he can’t think of the word and uses a limited one in his description. I get a kick out of this. Often he will say “what are you on about?” As if the character would say this when they are from America. Funny stuff. He says he has thousands of emails and stories from people that he has not yet told and it’s hard for me to imagine making a YouTube channel like this myself, but I’m so glad he is telling these stories because the world is more mysterious than we know.
