Black Moon Eclipse II

Where the shadow stops being an enemy

It wasn’t love that hurt. It was the fall.

The fall of everything I believed I was holding while I was coming apart inside. It was realizing I had turned you into a refuge when you were barely presence.

I broke. There was no glory in the pain. No epic. No reward for enduring. No immediate lesson. Only the fall. No narrative to save it.

I broke in silence, in the body, in the looping thought, in the anguish that gives no warning, and in the dark idea that waking up sometimes weighs more than sleeping forever.

I, who knew how to endure, with you, I couldn’t. I emptied myself.

Every memory was an impact. Every absence, an open wound. There was no light, no meaning, only the certainty that I had lost myself trying to stay.

But… something stopped. Not the pain — that doesn’t stop hurting — the observation.

And then I understood:

it wasn’t light that I had to find in you, but the part of myself I had projected without realizing it.

Your memory is not a refuge. It is a threshold.

A black moon eclipse does not illuminate: it reveals. And what was exposed was not your absence, but my own eternity placed in hands that could not sustain it.

It wasn’t you who broke me. It was the eternity I had placed in your hands.

It wasn’t your silence. It was my expectation.

The finite does not betray: it cannot sustain the infinite.

And then the shadow stopped being an enemy. It became revelation.

Lilith did not come to destroy me. She came to return what I had given away without awareness.

The eclipse did not extinguish the light: it showed me where I had lost it.

And when I saw it, it no longer hurt the same.

Not because I healed. But because I repositioned myself.

Today I do not seek refuges. I do not demand promises. I do not wait to be held.

I walk under the same black moon, but within myself.

Whole. Present. Inhabiting myself.

And that — for the first time — does not hurt.
