Forgetful lady:

Anna; is what Elite Circle called a butterfly of ballroom. She had everything that a woman would desire beauty, long and health hair thine waist and long legs and curves where necessary. She was loved by all in her social circle but where there is a light there is also darkness there were people who despised her.

Anna had a habit of forgetting things where she put and habit of losing her things , she have lost so many things that her father jotted down everything she had lost on a list and placed it in front wall of her room. It was a reminder for her that how much she has lost fortune of her father.

Her father was a wealthy business man a typical elite- class old man whose hair line exceeded to the end of his head and was overall a chubby old man who have a protruding abdomen that rippled when he laughed. He loved Anna, as she was his only daughter so he drenched her with all his love but as Anna was growing in a woman she started to lose more and more expensive and valuable things. One day she lost her roll no. slip one day before her exam. Her father and mother had to bribe invigilator to make her sit in the exam hall and give her exam. And another time she lost her diamond neckless that she got her as a birthday present from her parents in party. After seeing Anna’s forgetfulness servants started to steal her things and would blame on their lady that she must have forgotten to put in right place. For instance, one time she had lost a tiara made of expensive stone given to her by her crush, Drakor during a tea party. She had went there with her faithful servant Sophia on the invitation of Miss. Eleanora who also had some feeling for Mr. Drakor, on that particular tea party Anna was invited and after she went to use bathroom she lost her tiara. She searched it everywhere but could not find it. It was precious to her but even after searching everywhere she could not find it. Finally, at the end of day her faithful servant bought her lost tiara she had found it from the Miss. Eleanora belongings on investigating how that tiara goes from the bathroom to miss. Eleanora belongings it was concluded that the tiara was not perhaps lost or misplaced but was stolen by one of the servant. A servant accepted her crime when the tiara was found from the belonging of Miss Eleanora. Mistress Eleanora in anger, interrogate her servant and threatened to strip her of her job, if she do not tell why she stole it. That servant first denied but after many beating by Eleanora she confess that “you have beaten my mother that’s why she stole the tiara so that you have to face humiliation from your guest.” Anna seeing this felt sorry for the servant and Miss Eleanora gave her job of her maid. Anna having a kind heart she forgave the servant but now she was determine to unlearn her habit of forgetting things, after learning from the servant Sophia that Miss Eleanora took the advantage of miss Anna’s habit of forgetting things and told me to stole this tiara as she also love Mr. Drakor so as she was so close to losing her precious token of love from Drakor. She decided to improve her habits so she asked her servant to not constantly remind her of her invitation to tea party or ballroom she will remember on her own. Today also she had to go to a salon that open near the grand hotel “grand salon for ladies”, Sophia I am so excited to try trim my hair on new salon

Sophia said with a stern face yes ma’am but do you remember when your appointment is

Oh yes! I remember it was… hmm made a face as if she was remembering something

After reaching at the Grand salon for ladies they quickly moved toward the salon and during their hast they collide with group of small street children and Anna, fell after colliding with a child whose dirty hand left a print on her pink frock. He stood up and reaches his hand to help lady get up from her place but coachman scold the boy and help Anna get up from her place. The boy stood there with some kind of spark in his eyes and kept looking at the scene where Coachman help Anna get on her feet.

When Anna stood up, the boy again bumped into her and ran away and Anna fell again that day Anna realized that she does not have only one flaw of forgetting things but also she is very clumsy. Coach man hissed a cuss word at the boy and helped lady to get on her feet.

Mud has stained her dress,

We should first change your dress my lady insisted Sophia

You are right but ….Where should I get a new dress

Uummm shattered Sophia there is ….a shop…..that…..

What happened Sophi say it do not be afraid, what shop are you talking about that you are shuttering

Well there is a shop that sell ready to wear clothing

But miss… there cloths are purchased by commoner

She think for a second and announced that she will go to that shop

Anna was moving with speed again forgetting how of a clumsy she is

But this time she did not fall

Coachman snapped at Sophia, you should have kept your mouth shut.

She hissed a sorry

And started to follow Miss Anna and directed her towards the shop and on their way she would try to stops Anna time to time from going to that shop and convinces her to sit in carriage and return back home.

However, inside Anna’s mind there was something else going on. She was contemplating how she would wear commoner clothes explore the city freely and enjoy herself as a commoner. She was moving at a fast pace and would stumble on rocks now and then but there was tornado of thoughts were whirling inside her head and was determine to enjoy this opportunity of acting as peasant for a whole day and eat small stall foods.

After reaching at the store that was present at the edge of that main road on which grand hotel and salon for ladies was open. It was a small dusty shop, the sign was barely hanging on which it was written second hand clothes they enter inside the shop there was smell of fabric and there was another smell that was the smell of smoke and damp smell of water that was coming from soggy walls of that store. There were heap upon heap of cloths that were piled up in the store most of them were in grey and brown color colors that are not attracted by many young woman of Anna’s age. The smoke was coming from behind the counter where a woman of heavy body sitting on a under sized stole that would make a noise when she move from her place to reach for something after seeing Anna and Sophia she welcomed them with a hard voice that alerted Anna and Sophia. After seeing that lady’s sharp eyes and small lips Anna swallowed and weakly said we are here to get some cloth as they are covered in….

Lady cut her and said can you afford it

Sophia got angry at this comment and cursed at lady but lady only smiles and again repeat her question, point at a page on which it was written in cursive writing you cannot buy anything on credit and only accept pay.

Anna spoke this time, taunted at lady and we will give you your money but do you have cloths that I like.

Lady once again smirks and said I have a piece that is made just for you come inside

Lady hold a lantern and showed them way and inside the shop there was another room where there was a small cupboard inside there was a beautiful black dress that was made of silk that was an imported material and there was delicate embroidery on the collar of that dress and at the sleeves there were pink and blue jewels attached at the corner of dress and frock lower half was flowing like a silk river it looked like the night air.

Anna was stunned after seeing that dress and wanted to wear and feel that dress wrapped around her body and wanted to feel the pattern of that lace

Silk … it is made up of silk that is a very expensive item milady

I will buy this masterpiece name the price exulted Anna

Sophia: hey! That’s too much do not get to cocky that Miss decided to visit your shantytown

Oh! Please you want this dress don’t you! Lady looked at Anna

Anna stilled awed by that dress again said yes

Anna quickly changed her dress and stand in the sunlight that filtered through one of the old stained glassed window- she looked magnificent she looked like a black swan that had long white neck and her feathers were black in color that make her white skin glow her green eyes were in stark contrast with black dress giving her the poise of the swan. Anna swirled in that black gown.

Clap, clap shopkeeper lady clapped and spoke in a way that made Anna come out of the mesmerizing state that she was in from the moment she saw the dress.

Lady again pointed toward the signed and asked for cash

Anna put her hand in the pocket of her old gown only to find it — empty

i..i.. no I mean I think I have forgotten my purse at home again.

Milady I remember you taking you purse with you.

Ohm! I want my money as soon as possible grunted lady while smoking her pipe.

Sophia said we will give you later I appears that milady has forgotten her purse at home

Anna: hey I am already late for my appointment at salon we promise you that we will give you, your money once I reach home.

Ok Ok rumbled Anna, Sophia go and pick up the money while I sit in this shop

Anna was thinking that her plan to enjoy today has been spoiled by this ladies ancestral rules and my nobility. Oh! how fun it would be to wear this gown and walk in the streets full of people and eat food from small stalls, I would have gone to circus without gaining attention and enjoy what people see from the near stage and.. While she was thinking, her train of thought was disturbed by Sophia milady look who I bought.
