Other common 15" wheels are slightly narrower with 15x7 (or 7.5) + 35mm and 205/35 tires, or slightly wider with 15x9 + 35mm and 225/45 tires. If you use the widest 9" wheels and go to the 225/45, the tires will stretch a bit, and you’ll need to spread the fenders. You will also get some pressure.

The best spot here is between 16x8+20mm and 16x9+15mm. Generally, these wheel sizes are style-oriented. The shorter the offset, the greater the wheel offset and the deeper the wheel. The size 16x8 + 15mm — + 20mm provides a nearly level fit, but you may experience some friction even if the fender swirls (and requires a fender vortex).
