Spider-Man has appeared in multiple universe & several Marvel movies over the years, which makes the watch order a little confusing for newcomers.

The good news is that you don’t have to watch everything. These are the films that will help you understand Peter Parker’s story before Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Watch Order

1. Spiderman-Man (2002) (optional)

Start with Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man if you want to experience the classic version of Peter Parker. It’s not essential for the MCU, but it’s definitely worth watching & gives you a deeper appreciation of the character.

2. The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)

Next, watch The Amazing Spider-Man. This introduces Andrew Garfield’s version of Peter Parker & lays the foundation for his emotional journey.

3. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014)

This movie completes Andrew Garfield’s story & makes his appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home much more meaningful.

11. Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) This is the most important movie to watch before Brand New Day. It completely changes Peter Parker’s life and sets up the story for the next chapter.
