Insulin users may need to cut pre-exercise doses by 25% to 50%, and blood glucose below 100 mg/dL before a session means carbohydrates must come first. Performing resistance exercises before aerobic work can help stabilise blood glucose levels during the session. Each of these adjustments transforms a generic fitness routine into a genuine clinical tool.
