Hello, this is the Unifi team.
Unifi optimizes USDT yields through SuperEarn, an aggregator dedicated to asset management. SuperEarn has built its portfolio around proven DeFi protocols such as Morpho and Pendle, but there was a limitation in that on-chain yields alone made it difficult to stay insulated from market volatility.
That’s why SuperEarn has now added Yield8, issued by Kaia Investment Partners (KIP), to its portfolio. This is the first step toward diversifying revenue sources beyond on-chain yields into RWA (Real World Assets) backed by the real economy, generating stable interest income regardless of market conditions.
What is Yield8?
Yield8 is a product that tokenizes the value of the Kaia Multi-Asset Yield Fund on-chain, designed to provide access to private credit opportunities in the Asian market. It targets an annual yield of 8% or more, with weekly NAV reporting and monthly portfolio disclosures ensuring transparent visibility into asset management.
Three Real-World Assets in Yield8
- Galactica — Vessel Finance: A product targeting the financial needs of Indonesia’s shipping sector. In collaboration with PT Pelayaran Korindo, a shipping company with approximately 50 years of history, it generates returns based on long-term charter contracts for large vessels including LNG carriers.
- YieldCore — Gas Station Supply Chain Finance: A product that provides short-term working capital to Korean gas stations for securing fuel inventory. It is structured around the future revenues and land of gas stations, and is managed under a trust structure with a major domestic securities firm.
- Forest Jalan — MSME & Worker Payroll Finance: Through partnerships with Grab and job-matching platform JOOB, it provides short-term working capital and advance wages to small business owners and workers in Indonesia. The network includes over 21,000 small businesses and more than 440,000 workers, with a pilot-period default rate of 0.2% for small businesses and 0% for workers.
Looking Ahead
Yield8 is the first RWA product to be added to the SuperEarn portfolio. Going forward, we plan to continue expanding a balanced portfolio combining on-chain native products, RWAs, and structured yield sources, avoiding overexposure to any single market condition.
