Why We’re Opening AURA Pre-orders Before the Full Release

This is a First Release pre-order, not immediate shipping. We’d rather explain that clearly than hide behind launch language that sounds smoother than reality.

We’re opening AURA pre-orders before the full release because we’d rather be clear about what this stage is than dress it up with vague launch language.

This is a First Release pre-order. It is not immediate shipping.

The current estimated fulfillment window is mid-August, and we’ll keep sharing production and release updates as we move toward that point.

I think it’s worth saying that plainly, because pre-orders can feel a little slippery when brands don’t explain what they’re actually asking for. That’s not how we want to handle this.

For us, this stage does a few things at once.

First, it helps us plan sizing and demand more responsibly. That matters more than it sounds, especially with a product like AURA, where fit expectations and real wear matter a lot. We’d rather understand early demand clearly than guess too loosely and create the wrong problem later.

Second, it gives early users a straightforward way to secure the First Release price of $149 before AURA returns to $239. That isn’t meant as hype for its own sake. It’s simply the clearest way we can recognize people who are willing to come in early, before the full release and before immediate fulfillment is available.

Third — and maybe this matters most to me — it lets us build this more openly.

AURA is not being positioned as another generic comfort shoe. We’ve been pretty deliberate about that. The whole point is to build something that makes more sense for long workdays, business casual use, and the awkward gap between polished appearance and all-day underfoot logic. That kind of product deserves more explanation, not less.

Pre-order gives us room to do that in public.

So between now and the release window, we’ll keep sharing updates around production, design decisions, timing, and the parts we’re still paying close attention to. I think early users deserve that. If someone is reserving a pair before the full launch, they should be able to see what’s happening, not just get charged and then hear nothing.

That’s the standard we want to hold ourselves to.

If you’re only looking for immediate shipping, this stage probably isn’t for you yet. And that’s okay.

But if you’ve been following what AURA is trying to solve — and you’d rather secure the First Release price while we move toward the full launch — then this is the point where you can **Reserve Your Pair**.

If you want the details first, start with the Pre-order [FAQ ](https://vuzugu.com/pages/help-center?utm_source=medium&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=aura_faq_trust_202606&utm_content=medium_c_article_faq)or the AURA product page. And if you want the shorter technical explanation behind the shoe, there’s the VUZUGU-CORE page too.

We’ll keep sharing updates as we go.
