Death and Rebirth — A Poem
There’s a rebirth that goes on with us continuously as human beings. I don’t understand, personally, how you can be bored. I can understand how you can be depressed, but I just don’t understand boredom. **Dustin Hoffman**

Everything has a cycle
Daffodils evolve from seed to flower to seed
Humans evolve through experience and learning
The pain of the first birth for the mother equals the pain of each revelation
Revelation and wisdom hard earned
Truth is only half the story
The layers peel away to find another angle
Angles can be very sharp
The memory never quite leaves
Transformation brings more questions
Stillness becomes a part of your self
Introspection and Destruction
A piece is left behind, blown in the wind
It is a paradoxical but profoundly true and important principle of life that the most likely way to reach a goal is to be aiming not at that goal itself but at some more ambitious goal beyond it. **Arnold J. Toynbee**
