About badly chosen tools
Some time ago I told you about my switch from the half-baked for too long MS Todo, to Todoist.
And now, I’d like you to share my month-long experience. I didn’t want to do it one week after the switch, so obviously I had to wait to share that Todoist worked wonders for my productivity!
There were times when I was so frustrated with MS Todo, that I wanted to create my own SaaS ;-) Thankfully, I did not, and managed to reap results faster than I would ;-)
Todoist is still unable to do some things that my dream SaaS would do… Things I might implement myself because Todoist gives you this possibility! Take notes, Microsoft!
Still, Todoist is a major productivity upgrade.
Why?
- It improved my planning for the next day.
- Gave me an additional way of querying tasks (e.g. tags that actually work without Outlook).
- Gave me great tools for breaking down tasks, instead of adding useless subtasks…
- Gave me automations
