I Deployed My AI Portfolio on Kuberns and Here’s What Happened

I participated in the Kuberns AI Portfolio Hackathon 2026. The goal was simple: deploy a portfolio with AI features on Kuberns and share it live.

What I Built

I created an interactive terminal-style adventure game where visitors type commands to explore my skills, projects, and journey. The highlight is an AI assistant powered by Google Gemini that answers questions about my experience.

Type commands like:

• help to see all options
• skills to view my tech stack
• projects to browse my work
• ask to chat with the AI

The Deployment Experience

I expected deployment to be the hard part. It wasn’t.

I connected my GitHub repo to Kuberns, added my Gemini API key as an environment variable, and clicked deploy. Two minutes later, I had a live URL. No SSH, no server setup, no headaches.

Why This Matters

Most developers never deploy their projects. They stay on localhost forever. This hackathon forces you to ship something real that you can actually show employers.
