And just like that, The show began

Bubble Sort grabbed the mic “Hi everyone, I compare adjacent elements… again and again… and again”

Someone in the crowd whispered …“**Bro’s still buffering” **Bubble Sort ignored it

“Look at me, I’m O(n²), I am dedicated and keep moving the largest problems up one at a time”

Motivational? Yes, Scalable? Not really

Bubble Sort leaves the stage saying “Hard work beats talent… unless talent is O(n log n)”

Selection Sort walks up calmly “I don’t do unnecessary swaps, I scan everything, I choose the best, I commit”

Audience, “Still O(n²) though”

Selection Sort adjusts the mic “Efficiency in swapping, Not in time, We all have our strengths” Selection Sort exits with dignity

Insertion Sort smiles “Imagine arranging playing cards in your hand…. That’s me” The audience relates instantly

“I build a sorted portion step by step, If the data is nearly sorted!? I shine. O(n), baby”

Crowd impressed

“But worst case?” Insertion Sort looks away dramatically

“We don’t talk about O(n²)” Sometimes simplicity wins

Suddenly, dramatic background music plays Quick Sort enters “I choose a pivot”

Silence.

“I divide you, Smaller to the left, Bigger to the right” Audience: “OHhhhhhh.”

“Average complexity? O(n log n)”

Bubble Sort pretends to check its phone

“But yes, if I choose my pivot badly… O(n²)” EVEN HEROES HAVE WEAKNESSES

Quick Sort drops the mic “I’m not lucky. I’m strategically aggressive.”

Soft classical music fades in Merge Sort walks slowly to the mic

“Yes, I use extra space” Merge Sort admits “But consistency is power” Merge Sort leaves quietly No drama — Just results

At the end of the night, Big-O steps forward “There is no best algorithm.”

The room goes silent
