FDNY to Present Bobby Valentine with Gift for His Dedication

The gift is a testament to Bobby Valentine’s dedication and hard work during 9/11. It’s really a thank you for the countless visits to ground zero and firehouses right after the Twin Towers fell.

Before he is inducted into the Mets Hall of Fame this Saturday, Bobby will be presented with his very own FDNY job shirt. The shirt will have his name and his Number 2. “I will wear that shirt with pride,” Bobby told me. “We can never forget those 343 firefighters who lost their lives. We have to do everything we can to keep their memories alive.”
