3i/ATLAS: What to Believe?
There’s so many rumors and unofficial ‘updates.’
Reportedly, 3i/ATLAS has been ‘joined’ by a 100x larger body and several other brethern bodies of apparently the same cloth…not exactly comets but not exactly spaceships…, and all, or singly, are headed toward Mars…gasp…but the closest distance between them and Mars is on the order of half the distance between Earth and the sun. I wish someone would check these alarmist posts.
Did 3i/ATLAS change course? Did it have a exhaust…as in an artificial vectoring plasma thruster?
I guess we’ll have to wait until October 3 when 3i/ATLAS is projected to be closest to Mars.
I expect that 3i/ATLAS will proceed its jinky-fullback-like run through our solar system and on December 17, after solar perhelion, be merrily on its way to…wherever is not here.
Note: The abundance of ‘misquoting’ elite astrophysicists has been astonishing (Kaku, Penrose,…) It’s been very misleading especially with Utube video-casts that show a foto of a real astrophysicist but then one reads somewhere that the voice is Ai rendered according to how an Ai bot interprets what a Kaku WOULD say. I don’t really what to think, legally, about this but I am mostly feeling conned of my valuable time.)
