It has been a hot minute since I talked to you guys. I missed y’all.

So, let’s get down to business.

The truth is, I couldn’t post anything because I had a series of exams coming up. Between pulling all-nighters and crushing my exams, I didn’t have much time for anything I wanted to do.

But I do now. And now that I’m back, I decided my blog could use a little upgrade.

I realized my channel didn’t really have a clear-cut niche and I never really explained what I truly wanted to do in this blog. So, without further ado, I would like to introduce my channel.

The wisdom valuer channel.

If you’ve noticed or read till the end of any of my blogs, I always write something “wisdom valuer” at the end. I do that because that’s what I ultimately want to be known for. Someone who values wisdom and not just the feeling of having it. I want to base my opinions and advice on facts that I have thoroughly studied instead of just going with the flow of my feelings. Some people do that and that’s okay, but I want to be precise about what I’m giving my audience. I don’t want to feed you what I feel is good and end up giving you poison. That’s what I was doing initially, and well, I was beat. I ran out of ideas and most of what I was saying felt the same.

But now…. I can boldly say that I have a clear-cut niche now and it’s a lot more diverse than the way things were before.

I used to write based on what happened in my life. But then I realized that people don’t want to hear the same old thing over and over again, no matter how much they like me.

So….

I decided to re-brand my niche and re-introduce myself.

I am the wisdom valuer and I’m a college student. And because I’m a college student, my niche will be based on things that matter to me as a college student.

Which are: academics, a social life, making money, my relationship with God, and so on.

These are all things I focus on as a college student and more. And although this is kinda college related, I hope to be able to impact everyone and anyone interested in listening to me. Even if you’re someone who never got the opportunity to go to college. My blog is a safe space for everyone who wants it to be. And even though these are things I focus on as a college student, it could impact you no matter the age you’re at right now.

This year I decided to start my self improvement journey and I’m being serious about it. It’s the reason I started this blog. I wanted to write, but not a full-blown book — At least not yet — and I wanted to find a way to move people with my writing. That’s why if you’re worrying about what people will think about your writing or what to write or how to write, you shouldn’t. Just write your heart out. If you’re worried about how experienced you are and comparing yourself with other writers, you’ll never write anything. Many people you think are better than you started somewhere and were probably worse than you, but they started and never gave up. And you shouldn’t either.

So, I hope I’ve made my point, and I look forward to your comments on this and the next blog.
