Major Update: Lower Fees & Sharper Orderbook

Devs met with NEO council in Singapore at Centre Point #2. Trading fees on Flamingo to drop dramatically. Orderbook precision improving for tighter, smaller-step trades.

Roadmap & Governance Center Point #2 Meetup

Introduced a NEO Commitment and Values Statement requiring node operators to stay active. New rule: all NEO voters will earn GAS, not just voting for top 21. Encourages competition & accountability. Governance platform (created by Flamingo devs) coming soon for transparent proposals on the NEO website.

Flamingo Turns 5

Flamingo hit its 5th anniversary this month. Celebrations: $5,000 trading competition on the Orderbook in the coming weeks. Other events & promotions across X, Discord, Medium. One of the oldest surviving DEX platforms in DeFi (5+ years).

NEO v4 Roadmap

Eric (NEO co-founder) shared GitHub roadmap. Focus: speed, security, cheaper execution. Features: dynamic block times (~1s), new faster VM. No token migration required; fully compatible with Flamingo contracts.

What’s Next for Flamingo

Entering exploratory phase: Researching next “killer product.” Working on better cross-chain bridge(s) (current solution works but clunky). Ongoing expansion of existing products + R&D on new innovations.
