There is a first time for everything, and this is my first time having a fire close enough that half my city has already been evacuated. If you live in the PNW and California and you don’t have high anxiety during fire season, you’re not paying attention. For the moment, we are safe, but we are also looking at getting out of town.
This from our friend who is less than 1/10 of a mile from us. It’s insane right now.
Those are not clouds. That is an actual wall of smoke. Well, my mood these past few days has been “fuck it, burn it all down” and I guess some asshole decided to listen. Dark humor gets me through the day.
