A piece of friendly advice, this. Falling mostly on deaf (or dead) ears these days. And, of course, the Buddha said it so much better.

Children of Lazarus open your eyes and waken

Dreamers and Climbers shed your disguise and waken

Stray from the dark and desperate road and waken

Lay down your heavy and festering load and waken

The shackles you hold to be true are layers and layers of sleep only you can waken

Daughters of misery let go your pain and waken

Sons of the mire shatter your chains and waken

Reach for the sky and search for that star and waken

Remember and nurture the soul that you are and waken

The darkness you hold to be true is nothing but layers of sleep only you can waken
