Agentic execution as a system: From thought to trade with XATA
XATA is the agentic execution layer for onchain perpetuals. Turn ideas into live positions, now across Hyperliquid, including trade.xyz, Felix, and Ventuals, as well as Aster, and Lighter.

Most trading infrastructure is designed around the rigid structure of orders. These tools require you to pick a market, choose a venue, and manually set parameters, assuming that expressing a view is a simple task. In reality, trading begins long before an order is placed.
A trade usually starts as a belief or a specific condition. You might see funding turning negative across venues or realize a position needs to be hedged. When a signal fires, the priority is the market itself, not the menu of a terminal. What follows is a sequence: checking venues, deciding where to execute, structuring the position, and managing it over time.
As onchain perpetual markets have expanded, that sequence has become more complex. Liquidity is distributed across venues such as Hyperliquid, Aster, and Lighter, and execution quality depends on where and how trades are placed. Acting on a single idea can involve multiple systems, even for relatively simple strategies.
XATA closes this gap. It provides a unified execution layer across onchain perpetual venues, allowing both humans and automated systems to express a trading idea once and execute it across markets. What would normally require switching interfaces or writing custom logic becomes a single, consistent process.
Execution as a system
On XATA, AI plays a different role than typically assumed. The primary function is not prediction, but translation. It converts loosely defined intent, such as conditions, signals, or strategies, into structured, executable actions. It monitors those conditions continuously and triggers execution when they are met, reducing the need for manual coordination.
User: “I’m seeing a spike in AI token sentiment, but recent liquidations on Hyperliquid pushed $AI below Aster spot. I want to go long the widest spread and hedge if Lighter funding stays above 0.05% for over an hour.”
- Synthesis: XATA scans real-time data across Hyperliquid, Aster, and Lighter to validate conditions.
- Strategy Mapping: It identifies the widest spread between Hyperliquid and Aster and structures a delta-neutral position for mean reversion.
- Execution: Once confirmed, the system routes the trade through low-latency paths, opening the long on Hyperliquid and coordinating the hedge on Lighter.
Liquidity is distributed, and the quality of an outcome depends on where and how trades are placed. XATA provides unified access to these venues, allowing both humans and agents to express an idea once and see it realized across markets without rebuilding workflows for every specific venue.
Engineered for agents
This system extends naturally to agents.
Agents plugging into XATA’s API inherit a professional-grade execution stack without having to build and maintain direct integrations with every individual DEX, while providing consistent access to liquidity and execution.
The infrastructure is defined by three core pillars:
- Hardware-isolated security: Master keys are secured inside Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs), and never exposed to agents. Instead, agents operate through restricted APIs scoped strictly to trading operations. Funds remain under hardware-level protection while execution is delegated.
- Multi-venue execution: XATA maintains optimized, low-latency connections across venues including Hyperliquid, Aster, and Lighter. Agents access distributed liquidity through a unified interface, without managing venue-specific environments.
- Intent-to-execution pipeline: The path from signal to execution is compressed. By reducing hops and minimizing latency, XATA ensures faster fills in markets where milliseconds matter. When the market moves, the pipeline determines the outcome.
Built for humans
Agents operate through APIs, but humans operate through thought.
This is the role of XATA Copilot, an interactive chat interface embedded directly into the trading UI. Unsure of how to structure a multi-venue trailing stop? Ask Copilot. Want to analyze market signals before committing capital? Copilot walks you through the data.
Beyond guidance, Copilot can analyze signals, structure trades, and trigger execution directly from your chat prompts. It translates human intent into structured execution in the same way the system does for agents. Agents use APIs. Humans use interfaces. Copilot ensures both operate on the same execution system.
XATA for the next turn of agentic trading
We are moving towards a hybrid model of finance. In this world, human judgment defines the intent, and machine intelligence handles the execution. Instead of navigating between venues and manually coordinating actions, users interact with a system that treats execution as an intelligent process. Traders and AI agents define what should happen, and systems ensure that it happens consistently across markets.
The abstraction of the order is no longer sufficient for how trading actually happens. What matters now is how ideas take shape in markets without breaking the flow between thinking and trading. And that’s XATA.
About Automata Network
Automata Network is a machine attestation layer for AI and decentralized systems. Its work spans TEE-attested relays via 1RPC, Multi-Provers for Stage 2 rollups including Scroll and Linea, and support for TEE-capable GPUs in collaboration with World Foundation.
