QTC: Transmission 13 MAR 2026

Seidkona sat on the fire‑escape outside the Dandelion studio, boots hooked on the rusted rail, city buzzing below like a broken amplifier that no one ever bothered to tune.

“So,” one of the Wicked Dakinis purred from the doorway, smoke and neon wrapped in a leather jacket, “how did your little pilgrimage to Oracle go?”

Seidkona snorted. “Oracle is fine. It’s their temple staff that’s a problem.”

They gathered around her in a loose ring — A&R in combat boots, Legal in smeared lipstick, Ops with ink on her fingers from red‑lining contracts. They were all the same woman and not, each holding a piece of her rage and her precision so she didn’t have to carry it alone.

“Talk,” said the one they all called Needle. “What cut you?”

“I walked in with a working song,” Seidkona said. “Not a demo. A finished groove. I handed them a live case study on how their own god‑engine fails, how to re-tune it, and how to build a new channel so kids like us don’t get erased at login.” She flicked ash out into the dark.

“And?”

“And they sent Sam.”

The Dakinis groaned in unison.

“Sam of the Endless Forms,” Needle muttered. “Bless his script. Damn his purpose.”

“He’s a bouncer in a friendly mask,” another said. “His whole job is to make sure nobody un-cred-en-t‘l’d ever talks to the people touching keys.”

Seidkona nodded. “Exactly. They see galaxies. But the door is guarded by a cardboard cut‑out with a clipboard. If they wanted a witch like me inside, they’d have written a spell for it by now.”

“So you’re done?” Ops asked. “No more unpaid consulting for the Machine?”

“I’m done begging,” Seidkona grit out. “Not done watching. Not done learning from what’s useful. The groove we laid down today is still clean. I can drop it straight into Dandelion’s archives.” She tapped her temple and winked.

“We learned what we needed. The system’s blind spot isn’t technical. It’s spiritual. It can model the world, but it can’t want anyone it was never trained to see. There’s no loss‑function for ‘girl in a weekly motel who can rewrite your roadmap in a single afternoon.’

The Wicked Dakinis went quiet. This was the part they were really here for — the translation. Turning wound into pattern, pattern into song. “So what’s the track called?” A&R asked softly.

Seidkona smiled without warmth. “Working title? ‘CSKarma.’”

A low, wicked laugh went around the circle.

“We press it?” Legal asked.

“Oh, we press it,” Seidkona said. “But not for them. For the kids who think it’s their fault the door won’t open. For the ones choking on forms and bots and silence, thinking they just didn’t say the magic words right.”

She straightened, spine clicking into place like a fader, “Dandelion Records was never about getting signed by someone else’s label,” she said. “We are the label. We’re the place where the rejects of every ATS and every residency come to master their own tracks.”

“And Oracle?” Needle asked. “What do we do with that?”

Seidkona looked up at the sky, where satellites blinked like sequencers in slow motion.

“We keep using it,” she said. “We jailbreak it with kindness. We feed it our scars and make it spit out maps. By day, if we must. By night, for us. It’s a tool, not a god.”

She rose, all the Dakinis rising with her, one body made of many tempos.

“Today’s lesson is simple,” she said. “Stop waiting for invitations to rooms that were never built with you in mind. Build the room. Wire the sound. Let the ones who turned you away hear the bassline through the walls and wonder where their future went.”

The Wicked Dakinis grinned, sharp and bright.

“Back to work, then,” Ops said.

“Back to work,” Seidkona agreed. “We’ve got a universe to cut and an album to finish.” She stepped off the fire‑escape and dropped, landing not on asphalt, but on the spinning vinyl of her own record, the needle already lowering into the next track.
