Love Marriage Wasn’t the Problem—This Was

What is the real reason?

In the beginning, everything was perfect, everything was going well. Ayaan and Hira had a love marriage, both of them convinced their families with great difficulty, went through a lot of hardships and then accepted each other for their love.

Before marriage, they used to talk for hours, there was a reaction to every message, they felt that their love would never end and would last forever.

But after some time things started changing slowly.

When the truth comes to light

Ayan is busy with office work, Hira is surrounded by household responsibilities.

Earlier, both of them used to surprise each other but now they keep finding each other’s mistakes.

• “You have changed now.”
• “I don’t understand you.”

Such phrases have now become a part of their daily lives. Both also misunderstand that the person in front has changed.

What was the real problem?

One day, while reading her old chats, Hira realized that earlier both of them were trying to impress each other.

Now both have hope from each other.

They thought love was a feeling.

But love is not a feeling, it is a decision that has to be taken again every day.

The day that changes everything

One day they decided to talk about the whole thing.

• There was no accusation that day, nor was there any fight.
• There was only truth that day.

Ayan said that “he felt that everything would remain automatically even after marriage.” Hira replied, “she felt that love would always remain alive.”

That day they realized that love had not ended, but protection had diminished.

The solution

Both of them started doing small things again.

• They started giving 15 minutes to one another every day.
• Special time for one day of the week.
• More appreciation.
• Less criticism.

Slowly slowly their connection came back.

Final Thought

The issue of love marriage is not that it ends.

People stop trying to understand love and this way it doesn’t stay alive like.

A relationship is like a sweet plant that needs to be watered daily.

If it is not protected, it starts becoming weak.

And when two people come together to protect it, even a broken relationship becomes stronger.
