Q&A: Cast & Crew From “The Floaters” — Bentonville Film Festival 2025 Selection

Last week, *Rachel Israel’s The Floaters* had its world premiere at the Bentonville Film Festival. Directed by Rachel (Keep The Change), the film was written by siblings, Becky, Lily, and Shai Korman, along with Andra Gordon (Castle In The Ground, The Other Half), Amelia Brain, and Brent Hoff (Pranksta). It has an incredible ensemble cast consisting of Jackie Tohn (Nobody Wants This, GLOW), Sarah Podemski (Reservation Dogs, Resident Alien), [Aya Cash](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FiBXW2jW_s) (The Boys, The Franchise), [Seth Green](https://paltrocast.com/f/qa-%E2%80%9Cthe-floaters%E2%80%9D-star-seth-green) (Family Guy, Robot Chicken), Nina Bloomgarden (It’s What’s Inside, The Idea of You), and [Max Friedman](https://paltrocast.com/f/exclusive-a-look-at-the-evolution-of-aew-world-champion-mjf)* (AEW star Maxwell Jacob Friedman, Happy Gilmore 2*).

The Jewish summer camp comedy is a hilarious and beautiful exploration of campers and staff trying to navigate the social norms at camp and exploring their own lives. Whether it’s their first summer at camp or they’ve been coming since they could walk, the film shows the challenges and joys of entering a new community outside of your hometown and finding what makes your own identity. It’s a beautiful exploration for people of all ages and a lighthearted feature about Jewish joy.
