Let’s have a party!

It was the 3rd of June. A sleepy, dusty delta day. You know how it goes. We was sitting on the front porch, sipping from my red Solo cup.

Bobbie, Toby, Kenny, Jimmy, and I were talking, just shooting the breeze.

The long-tailed cat was sitting by the old rocking chair Bobbie was on, not realizing the danger.

Yup, just swapping lies and swatting flies. But then we all got quiet when Toby brought up Billy Joe. Yup, back in 1967. Seems like only yesterday.

That’s when Toby said that we should all have a party!
