Strengthening Governance and Internal Control, Bengkulu Prison Joins 2026 SPIPT Maturity Self-Assessment Socialization

Bengkulu — Class IIA Bengkulu Prison participated in the 2026 Integrated Government Internal Control System (SPIPT) Maturity Self-Assessment Socialization held virtually on Wednesday (June 3). The activity was conducted to enhance understanding and ensure uniformity in implementing SPIPT guidelines across correctional institutions.

The event was attended directly by the Head of Class IIA Bengkulu Prison, Julianto Budhi Prasetyono, accompanied by Head of Administration Affairs Best Victor Fasharoza, Head of Personnel and Finance Affairs Idirman, and administrative staff. The participants joined the virtual meeting from the Main Hall of Bengkulu Prison.

The socialization aimed to provide comprehensive insights into the mechanisms, indicators, and stages of the 2026 SPIPT Maturity Self-Assessment process. It also served as a platform to align perceptions among work units to ensure effective, measurable, and guideline-compliant implementation.

Julianto Budhi Prasetyono stated that SPIPT plays a crucial role in strengthening good governance, accountability, transparency, and integrity within government institutions. Therefore, all personnel must fully understand the established guidelines to ensure optimal implementation.

“Through this socialization activity, we gained a deeper understanding of the 2026 SPIPT Maturity Self-Assessment process. This knowledge will support Bengkulu Prison in strengthening internal control systems and improving organizational governance,” he said.

He further emphasized Bengkulu Prison’s commitment to supporting SPIPT implementation through capacity building, risk management enhancement, and optimization of internal supervision to foster a professional and integrity-driven organization.

By participating in this activity, Bengkulu Prison expects all personnel to carry out the 2026 SPIPT Maturity Self-Assessment objectively and in accordance with applicable guidelines, thereby contributing to organizational performance improvement and bureaucratic reform within the correctional system.
