Quick tests, an 80-question mock exam, vocabulary review, and multilingual explanations for people learning Japanese for work

The BJT asks a practical question: can you understand what is happening in a Japanese workplace and choose an appropriate response?

Unlike an exam with a simple pass-or-fail result, the Business Japanese Proficiency Test gives you a score from 0 to 800 and places you at one of six levels, from J5 to J1+. The official test has 80 questions and takes about two hours citeturn683117search0turn683117search3

What you can study in the app

Preparing for the BJT does not always mean sitting down for a full mock exam

On a busy day, you can complete the 10-question quick test. When you have more time, you can try the 80-question mock test and check how you perform across the different sections citeturn395208view0

Spend more time on the questions you missed

Repeating every question from the beginning is not always the best use of your study time

The app keeps track of recent mistakes and results below 70%, so you can return to areas that need more attention. You can also bookmark difficult questions and review business vocabulary according to your learning status citeturn395208view0

A simple weekly routine might look like this:

• Complete one quick test during your commute
• Read the explanation for each mistake
• Review saved vocabulary during a short break
• Take the mock test when you have enough time

The routine does not need to be complicated. Regular practice makes it easier to notice which expressions and situations still slow you down

The question bank and vocabulary are stored on your device, so you can open the learning content offline
