Hi!, It’s José here.

If you found yourself in the need of any of the stimulus checks given in 2020 and 2021, most likely, just like myself, are a middle class / working class American, and you have been affected by the ongoing economic crisis.

Thank you for reading me, in this article I want to share with you what I see is coming, and how we could be better prepared, not only to survive, but also thrive at the other side of the process.

My name is José, I graduated as an Electrical Engineer in 2001. For 12 years worked in the Energy sector for an Electric Utility. My work was mostly in Strategic Planning, Tariffs and Energy trends research. That was until a series of events led me to decide to reinvent myself and start over, in the search for freedom.

My view of freedom is living life on my own terms, and doing what I want, when I want, for as long as I want, with whoever I want. I haven’t fully achieved that freedom yet, but I believe that re-educating myself and finding ways to be more independent and self-reliant,in my thoughts, in my health and in my income, is in the path to obtaining it.

I’ve been married for almost twenty years and have two sons, both entering in their teenage years. I want to give them the example by being the best I can, so they can decide what could work best for their own lifes.

I am not a financial advisor, but I’ve studied the topic, and have gone through many failures and some small successes that give me the confidence to share some ideas with you.

In my article, I will talk a little bit more about this idea of getting ready for an upcoming (and ongoing) shift in the economic paradigm, from which we, as middle class, will only come out successful if we change our views, but most importantly, the way we operate.

The idea of an economic and monetary reset is neither my invention, nor a conspiracy theory. In fact, the World Economic Forum and the IMF themselves, openly talk about the need of a reset. The growing levels of debt aquired, not only by the US Govnerment, but by govenrments all over the world, and the economic crisis made evident in 2020 and 2021 create the perfect scenario for it.

This in itself, if it’s said out of context, is not neccesary a bad thing, but it can be a very painful process, where those in a less favorable position end up paying the highest price. This is also a process that historicaly implies a massive wealth transfer. But you won’t hear about this in Mainstream media until is too late for most people.

The good news, is that we might still be ontime to protect ourselves and even to evercome it succesfully.

In the next article, we’ll talk about why a monetary reset matters to us and how it can affect us.
