Life changes only when you came upon Tawhid
stranded in a field blinded by the lights who will come to save me? from these sleepless nights
when everything’s hurling towards and you kick your hands and feet so hard open your eyes, you can’t swim in void Look at your hands unarmed!
you know the way, or you may not blurred is your sight, arrows all broken in you mind, you can feel bumping knots
you search and search and search finding right way in field of smoke you count your tears, sitting in despair holding to the last thread of hope
when you think it’s all over, abandoning all your needs on one fine day of October Life changes, only when you came upon Tawhid

Tawhid:- believing in the oneness of Allah
For a man crushing under the weight of sins, traditions, cultures, habit, societal views of success and failure; his absolute submission to Allah alone- the Most Generous, is the only way of freedom and relief. With his declaration of la ilaha ill allah all those chains falls to the ground. Though the adherent of Tawhid is above all human authoritarianism and hence absolutely free. It is this freedom that access the source of all goodness.
“There is no god but Allah!”
Tawhid is the greatest command from Allah to His slaves, and it means singling Him out. On the other hand, Shirk (polytheism) is the gravest sin that Allah has forbidden His slaves from, and it means calling upon others along with Him.
Worship Allah and do not associate any partners with Him. {An-Nisa:36}
The likened of Tawhid when it is established in the sincere heart is to a noble tree, whose roots are firmly fixed in the earth and whose branches reach to the sky; and all the while it continues to yield beneficial fruit, as commanded by its Lord. Look at an oak tree! It acquire such strength and magnificence, by merit, and the help given to it by the power of earth, water, air and other elements to nourish and develop; for they meant for the purpose of helping trees of noble species.
Set against it is the word of khabithah, that is an evil corrupt word, a false belief and a baseless saying; which likened to a self-seeded plant growing in poor, shallow earth and easily plucked out with a single pull because its root have no firm base. It is full of thorns, producing bitter and harmful sprouts. When there are no trees of noble species to grow, the earth, which by its nature cannot remain barren, tolerates the growth of shrubs and weeds. No element accepts the right of existence of these plants as they do of the oak.
“Do you not see how Allah has given the example of a good word? It is like a good tree, whose root is firmly fixed, and whose branches reach the sky, ever yielding its fruit in every season with the leave of its Lord. Allah gives examples for mankind that they may take heed. And the example of an evil word is that of an evil tree, uprooted from the surface of the earth, wholly unable to endure. Thus, through a firm word, Allah grants firmness to the believers both in this world and in the Hereafter. As for the wrong-doers, Allah lets them go astray. Allah does whatever He wills.” {Ibrahim:24–27}
The heart that is firm, acknowledged and act upon Tawhid, establishes peace, goodness, truth and justice. The heart which is empty of basics of Iman, follows up with hollow deeds and bluff appearance, leads to destruction. Such people are unable to find the right way, their efforts will go to waste.
We keep fighting regarding the matters on how much the clothing of men should be above the ankle, how much should women cover in namaz, how many rakats to pray in taraweeh. We keep ourself busy in these never ending arguments forgetting the main aspect of acceptance of namaz — heart established on the unity of Allah. For ten years, the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم called men to tawhid, after which he was raised to heaven where the five salawat were instituted.
The ummah has gotten to a level of ignorance they think most of what they learn today is extra credit, when in reality it is essential matters they know and they get sinned for not knowing. -Sheikh AMJ
A person may seems to do very good deeds but if he associates anything other than Allah, his all good deeds goes to vain. On the other hand, if a person acquires very few deeds and struggles with many sins but his heart is firmly believes in unization of Allah and do not allies in any partner of Allah in any form, he will be among the people of jannah, by Allah’s will.
Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly gone far astray. {An-Nisa:116}
There is only one way to get out of every difficulty, complete acceptance of the unity of Allah in all forms.
Question yourself :- Do I completely denies Shirk in personal, societal and every other aspect of my life and consider Allah alone in my: creation, sustenance, judgement, supervisorship, worship, obedience, prayer, protection, my Ilah — central figure of my life; who is my life revolving around?
