🌐 VXLAN — The Next Step Beyond Traditional VLANs! 🚀

As networks scale and data centers grow, traditional VLANs start hitting their limits. That’s where VXLAN (Virtual Extensible LAN) comes into play. 🔎 VXLAN is an overlay network technology that extends Layer 2 networks over a Layer 3 infrastructure. It uses MAC-in-UDP encapsulation to tunnel traffic, allowing you to: Expand beyond the 4096 VLAN limit (VXLAN supports up to 16 million segments) Create scalable, multi-tenant networks Improve network agility and data center flexibility In simple terms: VXLAN = VLANs on steroids! 💪 It helps modern data centers scale efficiently while supporting cloud-native, virtualized, and containerized environments.
