Sunny. 60 degrees. Nice out. Went to church. M. & S. are both in the choir. T. & J2 came to visit.

Breezy. 60 degrees. My back is much better. Time is going fast.

65 degrees. Robins out. Mockingbirds are back, and little birds. Too warm. I don’t write every day. No one wants to read what an old one writes. Partly sunny.

Monday, March 16, 1992

Got picture taken for driver’s license. Awful looking. Went to Acme for cat food. I would like to get rid of the cat. He is ugly with hair in knots. Washed.

Wednesday, March 18, 1992

Not too chilly. Had hair done. Sleet and snow at night. Light. S. and the girl who lives out near the old farm went to the Art Museum.

My grandmother’s diary entries have become sporadic; as she says, no one wants to read it, anyway. I hope I am proving her wrong, now! It’s funny that she mentions me going to the Art Museum with a friend. I met a girl, L., actually she was 20 years older than me, in my art history class at college, and this “girl” just happened to live out near my grandmother’s old farm! We both were commuters so we started riding together on the two days each week we had class. Small world!

My new friend, L., and an old friend, W., at the art museum in March 1992. Sadly, I no longer talk to either of them, for various reasons.
