UReason’s APM Studio uses configurable dashboard components set up with dedicated editors that track key asset properties, health status, and alarms. In this demo, two important parts of the Starter Overview Dashboard are explored: the Model Selection Node and the Definition Node.

The Model Selection Node displays motor starters in a table. When the dashboard is switched to edit mode, the demo shows how it’s set to include all motor starters, define the table’s behaviour, choose which properties to show and their order, and specify health status and related information. This component can be added by dragging it from the palette onto the dashboard canvas.

The Definition Node points to an Alarm Browser called “Motor Starter Alarms.” This browser is configured to show active alarms and their relationships, select which alarm classes to display, and control presentation order. Alarms can come from various sources like state models, processing rules, or external systems. While filtering by specific objects is possible, this demo doesn’t use that feature.

Together, these components create a Starter Overview Dashboard that links asset details directly with relevant alarms, helping maintenance teams get faster, clearer situational awareness.
