✅Aws code star provides a unified interface to quickly develop , build and deploy application on AWS.

✅It allows us to launch entire continues delivery toolchain in minutes, allowing releases code faster

📍Usecase: Building CI/CD pipeline

To build CI/CD pipeline , we need to configure and integrate many services like AWS code commit , code deploy , code pipeline and others.

✅Step 1: Search service called “code star” create project

✅step 02: cretae service role

✅step03: created service role! choose the template of your project in my case i choose “java”, and simplicity demo purpose that’s why i choose “JAVA spring AWS EC2"

✅step 04: click next , setup the project details , name and id and choose the project repository

✅step05: Enter Ec2 configuration ->t2.micro , enter vpc and subnets and keypair also->click next

✅step 06: click next->review the project -> create project

✅step07: project is provisioning , it take 5 minutes

✅step 08: once project is provisioned

✅step09: go to project pipeline tab

✅step 10: steps are succeeded

✅step11: click ->view application

✅step 12:Deployed application

✅step13: click repositories -it shows the file structure of the project

✅step14: swetha-lab/src/main/webapps/WEB-INF/views/index.jsp

goto index.jsp->create some changes

✅step15: enter author , email details ->click commit

✅step16:once changed and commit the file , automatically trigger the changes in CI/CD deployment

✅step17:once project succeeded , again view the application

✅step 18: I added h3 adding here changed!

✅step 19: Here i added third party tool integrate with codestar

click->set up issue tracking

✅step20:Add to project

overview JIRA: Jira is a tool which is generally used for bug tracking , issue and project management.

✅step 21: Here ,i already created account in JIRA, i create one project

✅step22:enter the jira url->click next

✅step23:Go to the jira url link

✅Step24:Enter the details , copied from aws account

✅step25:once click the checkbox , click continue

✅Step26:Here other details also copied from aws account

✅step27: created link

✅step 28: click the confirmation , to integrate aws code star and jira

click->allow

✅step29:Now integrated jira
