Bengkulu Prison Joins Virtual Kick Off Ceremony of the 1st Imigrasi and Corrections Service Day

BENGKULU — The Head of Bengkulu Class IIA Correctional Institution, Julianto Budhi Prasetyono, along with the structural staff, attended the Kick Off Ceremony of the 1st Anniversary of the Ministry of Immigration and Corrections Service (Kemenimipas) virtually via Zoom Meeting on Friday (7/11).

The event, initiated by the Ministry of Immigration and Corrections of the Republic of Indonesia, was joined by all regional and central offices under the Directorate General of Immigration and the Directorate General of Corrections. The ceremony was led by Minister of Immigration and Corrections, Agus Andrianto, and also attended virtually by senior officials, including Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Corrections Bengkulu, Haposan Silalahi.

In his remarks, Minister Agus Andrianto officially launched the 1st Imigrasi and Corrections Service Day by pressing the siren button, symbolizing the start of a series of commemorative activities. He emphasized the importance of strengthening service integrity and commitment to public welfare.

“The participation of Bengkulu Prison represents our full support for the vision and transformative spirit of Kemenimipas. We are ready to contribute to the success of this historic celebration,” said Julianto Budhi Prasetyono, Head of Bengkulu Class IIA Prison.

The event, themed “Imipas Born to Serve the Nation and the People”, also featured an inspirational video presentation and the reading of the Ministry’s Founding Day declaration by the Secretary-General. All participants attended enthusiastically in batik attire from their respective office halls.
