Day-23 Note of VIth Semester

First hour was computer vision but rather class, lot of instructions were given and warned us to work really hard if we want to get good grades as project is excluded from course evaluation. How fast a RCNN works and VGG16 works will be said in tomorrow’s class is what is said.

Second hour was management, we were asked to compare and contrast the two management models discussed — Tylor and Faylon’s principles, second task is to find some points to criticize or counter their principles for management, I shall do them in morning and memorize them as memory catches it more in early hours. Max Bureaucratic management and its key features were discussed followed by its implications. I have to memorize them all. Third task is to justify if management is art or science.

In data analytics class, multiple data visualization plots were discussed which I never knew there existed so many plots. We need to understand them better through the assignment given, I will make use of that opportunity fully to explore maximum possible plots in it. Discussing each one is of no good work, learning their application and use case alongside implementation of assignment would boost knowledge. I felt the surge to discover my own plot for visualizing data, the best way to find one is to observe the patterns in nature and one would click to brain. I would get better idea when I learn through the existing types of visualization.

An extra hour of human computer interaction was held, in which course plan was discussed and project has got 40 marks weightage. Some interesting ideas for projects came up and I would like to add them to bucket list like the of re-deigning e-commerce website, this aligns with my idea of designing website with negative filters, mess card dashboard in iris and voice based interface for smart appliances.
