Don’t Steal My SEO Strategy

If you work in SEO, you know this feeling.

You open **Google Search Console**, see hundreds of keywords getting impressions, pages ranking on page 2 or 3, CTR dropping on important queries… and then wonder:

“Which page should I update first?”

“What content should I add?”

“Where is the easiest SEO win Hiding?”

I used to spend hours exporting GSC data into Excel, filtering rows, checking URLs manually, then writing content briefs.

Now I use Google Search Console + Claude, and it cuts my content audit time dramatically.

Here’s my exact workflow for finding content upgrade opportunities.

Why I Use Claude with Google Search Console?

Google Search Console tells you:

  • What keywords your pages rank for?
  • Which pages get impressions but Low Clicks?
  • Average position
  • CTR trends

But GSC doesn’t tell you:

  • Why the page isn’t performing better?
  • What content is missing?
  • Which sections should be expanded?
  • What questions users expect answered?

That’s where Claude helps. Claude can quickly analyze exported GSC keyword data and turn it into actionable content recommendations.

My Step-by-Step Process

Step 1: Open Performance Report in Google Search Console

Google Search Console → Performance → Search Results

Set date Range to Last 3 months.

Turn on:

  • Total Clicks
  • Total Impressions
  • Average CTR
  • Average Position

Step 2: Filter Pages with High Impressions but Low CTR

This is where hidden opportunities usually live.

I usually look for:

  • High impressions
  • Average Position between 5–20
  • Low CTR Compared to ranking

These Pages already have visibility. They just need a better push.

Step 3: Export the Data

Export page + query data as CSV or Google Sheets.

I usually include:

  • Query
  • Page URL
  • Clicks
  • Impressions
  • CTR
  • Position

Step 4: Upload the File to Claude

Then I upload the CSV into Claude and use a prompt like this:

Prompt:

“Analyze this Google Search Console export and identify content upgrade opportunities. Find pages with high impressions but low CTR or keywords ranking between positions 5–20. Suggest what content sections I should add, what FAQs are missing, and which keywords should be strengthened in the page.”

Step 5: Let Claude Identify Upgrade Opportunities

Claude usually finds patterns like:

Missing FAQ sections

Your page ranks for question-based keywords but doesn’t answer them directly.

Example:

  • “what is root canal treatment? ”
  • “is IVF painful?”

Easy win: Add FAQ blocks.

Missing keyword clusters

Your page ranks for related terms but doesn’t cover the topic deeply enough.

Example:

Page targets: “IVF Centre in Pune”

But impressions also come from:

  • IVF cost in Pune
  • IVF success rate Pune
  • best fertility doctor in Pune

Opportunity: Expand Content depth around those topics.

Weak CTR opportunities

Sometimes ranking is good, but title/meta description isn’t attractive enough.

Claude helps rewrite:

  • SEO titles
  • Meta descriptions
  • FAQ snippets

to improve CTR.

Step 6: Turn Insights into Content Updates

Then I Create a Quick content brief like:

Page to Update:

IVF Treatment Page

Add:

  • Cost section
  • FAQ section
  • Success rate breakdown
  • Internal links to related treatment pages
  • Updated title tag

Now instead of guessing what to update…

I’m updating pages based on real search demand from Google itself.

Why This Workflow Works?

Because you’re combining:

Google Search Console = Real user search behavior Claude = Fast Analysis + Content recommendations

That means:

  • better content decisions
  • faster audits
  • stronger keyword targeting
  • easier SEO wins

You’re not creating content blindly.

You’re improving pages based on what users are already searching for.

Final Thought

If you’re an SEO executive managing lots of pages, this workflow saves serious time. Before writing your next blog or refreshing old content:

Open Search Console first. Check where impressions already exist.

Then let Claude help you turn that data into content upgrades. That’s where some of the easiest organic growth opportunities are hiding.
