Two teams of enforcers, two gaggles of Cawdor basketcases, a Delaque gang, a group of Nomads, some Orlocks and some Squats. That‘s the list of participants in this latest campaign. So far, I‘ve played both Cawdors as well as the other Enforcer player. To be honest, the weather did more damage than my officers, but it‘s the two wins that count. The first game, against Cawdor, was unfortunately a loss, and thus the roads I control don‘t add up to a trade route. Something I‘ll have to rectify in the immediate future, when all roads have been claimed.

In my personal opinion, the Ash Wastes add a big load of rules and I‘m not convinced it‘s all necessary. Maybe I just haven‘t played enough „regular“ Necromunda…
The custom rig was definitely the right choice for my gang. The thing eats bullets like nothing else. I‘ve purchased a transport cage with two firing ports, so now my leader can fire her bolter out one side while someone else mans the other. The other good choice was the alliance with the Palanite Companions. Those disintegrator guns are mean… Sever on a rapid fire gun out to 24 inches is punishing, particularly when paired with Overwatch. That saved my hide more than a few times already. On the other hand, I keep forgetting to use the blood suppression siren!
I‘m having fun, but I can‘t shake the feeling I‘d have just as much fun in a regular campaign without vehicles. Maybe using that Ork-based Spyre Hunters gang…
