Loneliness

You know, yesterday, whilst I was reading Inio Asano’s manga Goodnight Punpun, I thought:

“But if we were to go through life alone, who would be there to help us when we needed it?”

Well… I think I have an answer: it’ll be an AI, given that it has now taken the place of humans, even in human relationships.

“But what will that mean as time goes on?”

I think we could still call ourselves “safe” for now, given that AI is still confined to a screen, but when it becomes an Android and enters our homes and our lives, that’s when, in my view, there will be a huge risk that, within a few years, most people will no longer have relationships with one another.

I am not opposed to either AI or the future of androids, but the younger generations (myself included) are at great risk of losing their relationships with one another as time goes on, which is why I believe we should already be teaching “today’s young people”, in schools, how to use AI correctly and responsibly, and the risks involved if it is misused.

Now I’ll leave you with something to think about: “Are you aware of how you use AI?”
