A Wave
Descending.
A Wave
Descending.

Ripples radiate from the centre Of my heart in vibration A tiny seed of doubt is sown Leaving a strange impression.
Sometimes the tide of my emotions Are touched by subtle seas Set off by electrical oscillations A zephyr, then a breeze.
Wind can gather strength Once alive, it is wild and free Then it whips up a groundswell From far out in the sea.
On the sea of heartbreaks White horses gallop by The flotsam and the jetsam Swell past my mind’s eye.
I look for calmer waters An oasis in the ocean Quiver in anticipation Seeing surges in slow motion.
Is it a dream that drifts by? To places on foreign shores Washed into oblivion By waves my mind explores.
I saw a wave that sent a signal Was it a flag of destiny? A way to stop the surge of waves Descending over me.
