At What Cost?

It is nine minutes past nine and we have arrived late. Across the United Kingdom, in areas where Muslim communities are concentrated and the Labour Party dependent on a Cartel controlled block vote, something deeply concerning is taking place.

In July 2015, at the request of the then Prime Minister and Home Secretary, Dame Louise Casey was asked to undertake a review into integration and opportunity in our most isolated and deprived communities. Her subsequent report, referred to as *the Casey Review *found, and I quote her words directly,

high levels of social and economic isolation in some places, and cultural and religious practices in communities…. run contrary to British values and sometimes our laws

At the time Dame Casey published her findings, the think-tank Policy Exchange also published details of their research as part of their Integration Index. They confirmed what most of us from the town could have told them without them having gone to all the effort, that not only did Oldham have one of the highest concentrations of Muslims in the UK, it was also one of the most segregated places in Britain.

Now 20 years after the race riots in the town, and following 10s of millions of government funded projects, contrary to the image desperately being pushed by Dr CAROLYN WILKINS and her team of almost exclusively not live anywhere near the town of White executive council officers, the situation is actually worse than ever before. In fact, it is about to get even more worse.

Perhaps it is because the truth can be so hard to swallow and they cannot bear admitting what is taking place, even to themselves. Perhaps, possibly for other more sinister reasons, they want to keep the truth hidden from us. Perhaps, they just think that we are working class and therefore automatically stupid. Or perhaps, their reasons are simple and we just don’t matter and so taking the time and effort explaining the truth to us is something that is beneath them. Whatever their motivation, there is something dangerous being kept hidden by those that run not just Oldham, but also other towns and cities across the United Kingdom with a high concentration of Muslim communities.

What they are hiding is something that every citizen in Oldham and other segregated towns and cities across the country should be concerned with. Unfortunately, for reasons only known to the likes of the Labour Party hierarchy and the fake liberal metropolitan elite policy officers and their friends in the press that control the vast majority of these areas, they are keeping the truth from us.

Since becoming recognised as a government concern, segregation over the last 20 years has worsened. It has not just worsened in the usual places, it has expanded to take root in new. Despite hundreds of millions of pounds worth of projects and the focused mind of academics, policy officers and politicians, vast territories across the UK are now almost exclusively mono ethnic with their own set of parallel values and laws. What Dame Casey feared would come to be barely 5 years ago, what respected analysts such as Munira Mirza have warned since they started researching this concerning trend, is now the lived reality of communities across our country.

In part, this is due to growing self segregation by UK Muslims who are increasingly identifying themselves through their religious identity rather than their ethnic identities, never mind their British nationality. This trend is not new, though dating back to 2007, Mirza’s research is even more relevant today than when it was first published nearly 15 years ago. What she and her team identified has been predictably glossed over by those who either lack the courage, or benefit from, the concerns she and her team raised.

• 62% of 16–24 year olds feel they have as much in common with non-Muslims as Muslims, compared to 71% of 55+ year olds
• 60% of Muslims would prefer to send their children to a mixed state school, compared to 35% who would prefer to send their child to an Islamic school.There is a clear age difference. 37% of 16–24 year olds preferred to send their children to Islamic state schools, compared to 25% of 45–54 year olds and 19% of 55+ year olds
• 59% of Muslims would prefer to live under British law, compared to 28% who would prefer to live under sharia law. 37% of 16–24 year olds prefer sharia compared to 17% of 55+ year olds
• 36% of 16–24 year olds believe if a Muslim converts to another religion they should be punished by death, compared to 19% of 55+ year olds
• 7% “admire organisations like Al-Qaeda that are prepared to fight the West’. 13% of 16–24 year olds agreed with this statement compared to 3% of 55+ year olds
• 74% of 16–24 year olds would prefer Muslim women to choose to wear the veil, compared to only 28% of 55+ year olds

Self segregation is of course nothing new, people with a shared identity gathering to live together is rarely something to be alarmed by. Unfortunately, in this instance, it is the motivation that should cause alarm. If only those tasked with safeguarding our traditions and values stopped to look.

Separate to people just wanting to live alongside familiar family and friendship networks, a worrying trend is evolving in these already segregated Muslim communities. When asked, and if honest, some will share with you that they have no desire to integrate and want to live separate lives.

Through a failed, or depending on your viewpoint, successful multicultural government strategy spanning over 50 years, they now have all that they need in their mono religious areas. They have their shops, their mosques and exclusive community facilities safeguarded by their almost exclusively Muslim elected representatives. Their festivals enjoy government funding whilst the needs of others are shunned or considered taboo for fear of labelled far right or racist. And should they need access to politicians at a more senior level, through the power they wield through their block vote, the MP is available on speed dial to address any concerns, particularly if there is a samosa available to nibble.

Through community pressure, almost invisible to outsiders, future generations in these communities are already being raised in conditions resembling Saudi Arabia. Compulsory dressing of girls in hijabs is already a given and these communities are only a generation away, at best, from sending their children to single sex Muslim only faith schools where they can be taught a parallel curriculum at odds with our liberal traditions and way of life.

Doubt my analysis? Just look at the cowardice of politicians unwilling to defend our democracy or way of life, as demonstrated as recently as the abandonment of the Batley school teacher who is in hiding for his life. Or the delayed and then shameful government report report in to the grooming gangs. Forced released after over 100,000 people signed a petition, this document will go down in history as a monumental cover up. A cover up that was only possible by mainstream journalists failing to critique the data to even a GCSE level standard. Had they done so, they would have found the correlation that we all feared.

The consequence of our cowardice isn’t just that segregation is intensifying, where traditionally segregated areas are divided in more ways than they were before; segregation is spreading and expanding in to new areas.

Betrayed, flight by those who can get out, both White people and minorities that do not want to live in the UK equivalent of Taliban Kabul, is widespread across the country. As for those who are left behind, abandoned, I fear for their future.

I paint a bleak picture. I gain no satisfaction from doing so. I have spent 30 years of my life fighting against this. And it is with regret and sadness verging on dismay that what I next share with you, despite how bad the situation currently is, it is about to get worse.
