the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Christ bodily

For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Col. 2:9

That their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love and unto all the riches of the full assurance of understanding, unto the full knowledge of the mystery of God, Christ. Col. 2:2

But whenever their heart turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away…But we all with unveiled face, beholding and reflecting like a mirror the glory of the Lord… 2 Cor. 3:16, 18

Praise the Lord, all the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Christ bodily, and we are made full in Him! Amen, Lord, we love You and we open to You to enjoy You and partake of what You are so that we may become Your fullness! Hallelujah!

Wow, we believers in Christ can have our hearts comforted, even knit together in love, to have the riches of the full assurance of understanding and the full knowledge of the mystery of God, Christ! In this One, all the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily, and we are made full in Him!

Lord, unveil us to see this. Bring us into this experience today. May we see You, know You, enjoy You, and experience You as the One in whom all the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily so that we may be made full in You! Amen!

In Colossians 2:10 Paul continues, “You have been made full in Him, who is the Head of all rule and authority.” The Greek word translated “have been made full” is a verbal adjective based on the same root as the word translated “fullness,” a noun, in verse 9. We should understand the expression have been made full based upon the word fullness in verse 9. Because all the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Christ bodily, we have been made full in Him. The Christ in whom we have been made full is the Head of all rule and authority. On the one hand, Christ possesses all the fullness of the Godhead, for it dwells in Him bodily; on the other hand, this Christ, who is the Head of all rule and authority, is above all rule and authority, that is, above all the fallen angels occupying positions of power in the air in subordination to Satan (v. 15). Christ not only has the fullness of the Godhead but is also above all rule, authority, and power of Satan. We have been put into such a Christ and have been made full in Him.
