The Galactic Thinker — To the Planet that Blames their Deficiencies on the Dominant Race
“What is wrong with blaming one’s deficiencies on the dominant race, Dave?”
The Galactic Thinker — To the Planet that Blames their Deficiencies on the Dominant Race
“What is wrong with blaming one’s deficiencies on the dominant race, Dave?”
“Can’t you just sense that it is wrong?”
“Yes, but, since our higher philosophy is based on higher language, we need to put it into language, and as simply as possible, if that makes sense. Merely vaguely sensing something is not adequate.”
“Then we will roll up our language sleeves and go to work.”
“What do you mean we, Kemosabe? You are the thinker!”
“Kemosabe?”
“Yes. Tonto, the Lone Ranger’s sidekick, calls the Lone Ranger ‘Kemosabe’. There is a joke where they were surrounded by Indians, and the Lone Ranger asked Tonto, ‘Now what are we going to do, Tonto?’ And Tonto said, ‘What do you mean ‘we’, Paleface?’ Get it, Dave?”
“Yes, Love. I am not a humor cretin, unlike a majority of humans on earth. Tonto was already and Indian, so he was in no danger, although…”
“Although?”
“That was not entirely true, since Indians were still primitive and tribal, and, if he was not of their tribe, he was in mortal danger, too. It is why the Indians did not see the Europeans coming — they could not go out and explore the world. They would have been killed by neighboring tribes. The consequence was that they were the ‘discovered’ people rather than the discoverers, and it never goes well for the discovered people in a clueless, unenlightened galaxy. Enter our philosophy, which fixes that problem, and which brings us back to our present challenge, that of explaining why blaming and pointing out the deficiencies of the dominant race is the wrong way to go when confronted with a problem.”
“So, Dave, why is it the wrong way to go?”
“Ask that abusive, jealous shithead over there who dismisses our philosophy and thinks that I am full of hubris, which he is obsessed with and wants to knock down, though he is the one filled with hubris, and that is all he knows, hence his erroneous perception of it in me.”
“Dismisses our philosophy? What does he forward instead?”
“Cynical, fatalistic shit, and even worse, shit that tries to get you to deny basic reality, which is just what you would expect from an arrogant, capricious smartass shit-for-brains filled with hubris and who has never been corrected in his life.”
“You sound annoyed with such a person, Dave.”
“A little? It is annoying, so my annoyance is perfectly understandable, unless you are a cretin, then you will not understand it, which, unfortunately, seems to be the rule in this galaxy rather than the exception.”
“Dave! Such negativity! I’m sure every person in this galaxy can understand it, it is just that their social environs will not let them, so they pretend that they do not understand it…”
“You may still give them the benefit of the doubt, Love. I’m through with it. As for bad social environs, who creates such bad social environs?”
“In a clueless galaxy? It only takes one, Dave. If you have a few, then it’s all over. You’re screwed if you are growing up among them, since they tend to dominate, being either bellowers or sleazy psychological manipulators.”
“Are they white?”
“Sometimes. Whites are not immune to bad people, Dave.”
“To the same percentage as any other race?”
“Sure. Now, continue with our present challenge, Dave…”
“You mean MY present challenge, since I have to do the hard thinking…”
“No, ‘ours’, Dave, since I will give you moral support. It is not like I dumped the task on you and left, leaving you as the sucker, which is what our author’s wife does to him, because that is the way she thinks. She once said that to their son, that she made a sucker out of our author and the son told our author, and our author asked his son in an exasperated way, ‘What kind of mentality is that?’, implying that cooperating and supporting one another would be better than making one another suckers in life, and their son said that he thought that she was mentally ill.”
“So she is obnoxious and socially destructive by choice?”
“Yes, and also physically destructive. She doesn’t just ruin reputations, plans, projects, and trips. She destroys physical objects, too, like smart phones, cars, lids to anything, and glass doors, to name a few on her long, annoying list.”
“Why do we mention our author and his horrible wife in these stories, Dave?”
“Because there are life lessons to be learned in the sub-stories, Love. As for my, I mean ‘our’, present challenge of why it is wrong to blame the deficiencies of the dominant race on one’s troubles, the answer is that the complainers can figure things out for themselves instead of complaining, or, better and best, they can adopt our Philosophy of Broader Survival, since it has all the Big Answers of life and existence and has already worked out the optimum mindset to have with regards to surviving against this harsh and deadly universe.”
“What if they work some other mindset out, Dave, one that is a comprehensive overarching life-guiding philosophy like ours, and it is as good or superior to ours?”
“Another philosophy that is as good as ours would be great, since it adds to Diversity, which is still a critical factor in Broader Survival. A philosophy that is better than ours is great, too, since our philosophy is strong in rationale and as valid as current Verified Knowledge allows, and a superior philosophy would only mean that it is stronger in rationale and more valid, being based on more Verified Knowledge, although…”
“Although?”
“Although it would also have to be broader, otherwise it would not be superior, only equal, and, if less, then it would be inferior, only benefitting a few rather than everyone and everything.”
“So that is your answer to the challenge, that, rather than complaining, the complainers can figure things out for themselves?”
“Yes, and with a strong, correct mindset, they will have the ‘why’ and the ‘why bother’ answered, too.”
“What about that person on the TV screen over there who thinks they has the answers to life?”
“They has?”
“I’m trying to be WOKE, but in a positive, constructive way by using their mandated pronoun…”
“Well, Love, bad grammer is bad grammer, no matter how socially and politically mandated it is.”
“So, what pronoun should I have used, Dave?”
“It.”
“It?”
“Yes, if you want to be gender-free. You should have said, ‘That person on TV thinks it has all the answers.”
“Thank you for correcting me, Dave, but the word ‘it’ is dehumanizing…”
“Then we need to invent a better synonym. The pronoun ‘they’ does not cut it when referring to one individual.”
“Let’s look up some synonyms for ‘it’, Dave… and we have him, her, he, she, they, creature, animal, beast, critter, monster, varmint…”
“It looks like we are stuck with ‘it’, then, at least for the time being, until someone invents a better synonym for ‘it’ that is not dehumanizing…”
“Hmmm…”
“I have a solution, Love! It just occurred to me…”
“What is it, Dave?”
“Ahem, ‘What about that person on TV, who, being a clueless shit who does not do any appreciable thinking, thinks that she has all the answers… well, no, that did not work, did it, Love…”
“No, Dave, and we really cannot use the word ‘it’ honestly, anyway…”
“Why?”
“Because that word is reserved for a creature that we cannot determine the gender of, so we call it an ‘it’, and in this case we can easily determine the gender of human, so the word ‘it’ would not be honest.”
“What about the exceptions, Love, where we can’t readily determine the gender of someone?”
“There are always exceptions, Dave, but they are not the rule, are they…”
“Tell that to WOKE extremists!”
“No thanks, Dave. I’m not wasting my time with them.”
“Why?”
“If they cannot think in the first place, and worse, if they are capriciously intent on pushing deceptions, delusions, and lies, then I will not waste my time with them.”
“So, they should have figured things out at an adequate level instead of pushing pure juvenile insanity on us?”
“Yes, and you can add adult insanity too if you wish, since, unfortunately, there are many adults and parents who have been conditioned by their clueless social environs and lame-brained societal fashions to avoid doing any appreciable thinking for themselves, and they end up going along with the thought fashions of their wayward kids.”
“Well, Love, I don’t really have a problem communicating in a gender-neutral manner, or using whatever pronoun a person prefers, unless…”
“Unless?”
“Unless the person says that they merely feel like the other gender…”
“Why exclude them, Dave?”
“Because they can be dishonest and conniving, and I’m not indulging that.”
“What about the person on TV who thinks it has all the answers?”
“It? You cannot determine the person’s gender?”
“I was just trying out the pronoun ‘it’ one last time…”
“As for the person in question, see how he is swaying?”
“Are you sure it is a ‘he’?”
“Yes, unless the person is a transgender and is fooling us cosmetically, which is only how deep sex changes get, since they only address a few organs and one major system in the human body, and there are seventy-eight organs and eleven major systems in the human body.”
“Yes, I see him swaying.”
“She is trying to compensate for the inadequacies of his thinking, since it has not thought things through.”
“Haha… your attempt at being gender-free is amusing, Dave…”
“Well, you can’t say that I didn’t try… so what should we do about the gender pronoun issue?”
“We should just admit that we can distinguish between the genders of humanoids since the signs are many and obvious to us, and therefore we should just honestly say ‘he’ or ‘she’, or, if it is a transgender person, we can say ‘that person who identifies with the other gender’ or ‘that transgenderist’ if the person has had sex change treatments and operations, or is merely identifying as the opposite sex for whatever convenient or delusional or capricious or devious reason. Why should we be dishonest and deny the obvious, right?”
“Because WOKE extremists want us to…”
“They want us to make room for those people, Dave, though pushing insanity or bad grammar are not the right ways to go. What about that other person on TV?”
“His philosophy is good for his ego, and nothing more. It is otherwise shit. No one in their right mind would want to adopt it.”
“What if he threatened violence on them if they didn’t adopt his philosophy?”
“Then that is a form of rhetoric, Love, which Plato hated, and I concur with him. It is the stuff of snake oil salesmen and sleazy lawyers who care nothing for truth or justice, but only for duping naive people, judges, and juries. Rhetoric also works at the psychological level, which is a lower form of mental existence, philosophy being the higher form. “
“But ancient Greek thinkers noticed that people who were wrong were winning arguments, Dave, so they developed the tools of rhetoric, such as blustering and bellowing, to give people the tools to combat it…”
“Yes, but, as with anything that clueless people have their hands in, trained rhetoric quickly became a tool of evil.”
“What about those kids who are telling their parents what flavor of ice cream they want?”
“I would tell them the story about what happened to me in the old days when I said I wanted something…”
“What happened?”
“The phrase ‘I want’ was beat out of me!”
“That’s terrible, Dave. So what did you do after that?”
“I never said I wanted anything again!”
“What if someone asked you what you wanted?”
“I would say ‘I don’t want anything’, or ‘whatever’, or ‘it doesn’t matter to me’, or ‘just give me whatever you need to get rid of first, that is, when they asked, since my body language said not to bother me with such foolish trivia.”
“So such things didn’t really matter to you?”
“No. I saw the frivolity of it all and how clueless people were, which eventually drove me to develop the philosophy. Therefore my early childhood abuses and deprivations all worked out. I married an abusive woman which helped spur me to develop the philosophy.”
Speaking of which, where is your mission to today, Dave?”
“To visit The Planet Where they Blame their Deficiencies on the Dominant Race.”
“Blame?”
“For the planet’s problems.”
“Do they try to demean the dominant race?”
“Yes, even when they condemn that race’s demeaning of everyone else.”
“That is hypocritical, Dave. You cannot demean a behavior that you engage in yourself, can you…”
“Not without being a hypocrit, Love.”
“How does the dominant race demean everyone else?”
“By results.”
“Not by words?”
“No. They have the superior results to prove their superiority.”
“And, let me guess… WOKE wants is to ignore that reality?”
“Yes, which is why their chosen political party loses elections. No one likes to be manipulated by juvenile insanity.”
“So what is wrong with the dominant race?”
“You mean there must be something wrong with the dominant race, since the others complain about them and point out their deficiencies?”
“Yes…”
“The others complain about frivolous things, Love, because they are clueless. They do not address the core problem, which is cluelessness, and therefore they will not fix anything, they will only cover it up with more problems.”
“So their main complaint should be that the dominant race is clueless?”
“Yes! I can’t believe that people do not see that!”
“Well, believe it, Dave. No one does. Frustrating, isn’t it…”
“Yes, it is!”
“Have you criticized it?”
“Sure, with the resulting expected kneejerk backlash, even when I try to be tactful about it and explain things detail by detail…”
“And when that fails?”
“Then I need to just say, ‘Let me put it succinctly, pal. You are full of shit’.”
“What if you imply that on a philosophical site or forum?”
“Then I get kicked out by the stupid fucks!”
“So they would rather wallow in their own fashionable mental shit meant to impress one another’s shitty mindsets than understand you?”
“That’s right. They like blowing academic smoke in one another’s faces, and that has been the history of what I’ve encountered in my efforts to enlighten such pretentious individuals.”
“Pretentious?”
“They like to pretend that they are academic philosophers, when they are not, and do you know what the really sad part of it is?”
“What?”
“Academic philosophers like to pretend that they think.”
“Well, Dave, they will have to see the merits of your philosophy through their own efforts. You cannot tell them, they will not listen to you, since you do not have the credentials, hype, or glitz that they prioritize over pure rationale. You can see that, can’t you, Dave?”
“Yes, since I myself am like that. I find myself not listening, preferring to discover things for myself. Lectures? I don’t really listen, I just read the books, which is faster than listening to a slowly droning professor.”
“Maybe that is because you are not speech-oriented, Dave. You are primarily right-brained, meaning you are more pattern and image oriented, where you would prefer organized charts, pictures, schematics, and diagrams…”
“Maybe. I do prefer information in organized, analytical visual form rather than trying to listen to someone who is blabbing on and on, where I lost them after their first absurd utterance, which is usually their first sentence…”
“Well, Dave, good luck on your mission. Here, take this, it may come in handy…”
.
.
“Good morning, Shuttle. To The Planet that Blames its Deficiencies on the Dominant Race, please.”
“Blames them for all the troubles in the world?”
“Basically, yes.”
“Are you going their to point out the deficiencies of the dominant race, Dave?”
“No, Shuttle, I am going there to point out the common deficiency of EVERYONE there, that of their being clueless as defined by our philosophy…”
“And the definition is? If you do not mind telling me, Dave, and if you do not mind me calling you out on it, just in case you are full of vague bullshit like everyone else…”
“We define cluelessness as not having prioritized Broader Survival, as defined by our philosophy.”
“And how does our philosophy define Broader Survival, Dave? Sorry to make you do the heavy mental lifting…”
“Our philosophy defines Broader Survival as working to survive against the harsh and deadly universe, rather than just surviving among the clueless shits that you are stuck with in life.”
“You just dropped several mics, Dave.”
“Is that a good thing?”
“Yes. Would you like a scenic route, or shall I get you to the planet instantly?”
“Give me a scenic route, Shuttle, so I can settle down emotionally. Let me buckle in…”
.
.
“If you look out of my electronically-enhanced portside viewing port, Dave, you will see the subject of our scenic route…”

“What is it, Shuttle?”
“It is a black hole siphoning off matter from a star.”
“But the stream of matter is a straight line, Shuttle. That doesn’t happen in reality…”
“Let me see… ah, my viewport artificial intelligence needs work. Let me correct it by telling it to curve the line… and…”

“Hahaha…”
“Yes, Dave, I see the humor. And they say that GPT technology will take over the world. Sheesh. Let me try again and tell it to make the stream a gradual curve that follows the spin of the accretion disc… and…”

“How’s that?”
“Better, Shuttle. Are black holes infinitely small, like current cosmologists and physicists like to say?”
“In my opinion, Dave, no, otherwise they would not exist, since infinity is nothingness. I would think that the smaller a black hole gets, the greater the pushback force would be by the matter at the core. The force would be great, but not infinite.”
“What kind of matter would push back, Shuttle? Would the pushback force be due to subatomic particles, such as quarks?”
“Maybe, or it could have emergent properties. Who knows. One thing is certain, it is not infinitely small, or it wouldn’t be there.”
“But cosmologists and physicists claim that they are infinitely small…”
“And it is well known that cosmologists and physicists, much like philosophers, sometimes do not think adequately, Dave.”
“Sometimes?”
“OK, maybe more often than they should, like with their misconstruance of time, thinking that it is a physical property, when it is not, it is a tool that we invented to track change, which is the physical property that we engineer to and not fanciful notions of time.”
“But time is used in calculations, Shuttle…”
“It is a convenient tool, since change does not have temporal units of its own.”
“So they mistakenly reify time…”
“Yes. They think that it is hovering out there, everywhere, and in space no less. Even the ancient Greeks two thousand five hundred years ago would have seen that reification error. I find it amazing that people still make the error.”
“What is the error specifically, Dave?”
“People who think time is some kind of physical continuum make the mistake of thinking that it is composed of physical units, like seconds or hours, or a continuum waiting out there for us to pass through it. That is not the case. In the real world, there is only the present. All else is constructed by us. We log the past in order to document it and learn from it and possibly reconstruct it, which is how Resurrection via Technology works, and we project the future in order to avoid cosmic calamities and other lesser threats to life and existence. and the future and the past both have to do with arrangements of atoms, not time — the past being composed of past arrangements, and the future being composed of future arrangements.”
“So ‘time’ does not exist?”
“Not in any physical mode, no. We need to be concerned with change, not time.”
“Then what is out there concerning time?”
“Nothing, or time’s equivalent to space’s infinite nothingness, which is infinite time, or eternity, where there is nothing out there in the future waiting for us beyond the continuous changing present. Also, if there is no change, time can take a vacation. Change does not need time applied to it, either physically or as a concept. Change just needs space, and, between the positions of matter and energy, it creates its own space within its bounds. If there is infinite matter and energy, then space can be infinite, although anything that is truly infinite does not exist, since infinity is equal to nothingness. Therefore ‘space’ is restricted to the internal bounds of matter, and let’s throw energy in there, too, if we can.”
“So they should be addressing change instead of time…”
“Yes. Time is a tool to help us understand and engineer to change. That’s all time is. A tool. It is not some mysterious physical continuum waiting for us to pass through it. That is all in the imagination. Take away that imagined time that is waiting for us in the future to pass through it, and what are we left with?”
“What?”
“The ever-changing present. The concept of time makes no difference, since the concept is imaginary. Change will happen anyway, with or without the concept of time, and change is always in the present. Time is just an idea. A measuring system, like meters and inches in space. Time is a useful tool for dealing with the sequential aspect of change, meaning quantifying it, giving us the concepts of ‘speed’, ‘vectors, and ‘velocity’ so we can work with it. But the units are not physical, like weak thinkers think, they are imaginary.”
“Time deals with the temporal, and not with space?”
“Correct. Though rather than the word ‘temporal’, you can use ‘sequential’. Change also deals with space, and that is what distance units are for, and which, for the same reason, are not physical. Space is not composed of physical units of meters and inches hovering out there. They are an imaginary system, a mental tool, applied by us.”
“But doesn’t change need time?”
“No, it only needs space. Change is always in the present. Past change is gone, and future changes have not happened yet, and they are both in our minds only, not out in the physical world, as people think time is, which itself is just a measuring system.”
“So the term ‘spacetime’ should be ‘spacechange’?”
“Yes.”
“So people who try to reify time are just giving words to their vague, fanciful notions?”
Yes. Like ‘honeybears grow on trees’. It is a logical statement, but it has no relation to reality.”
“What about extra dimensions in math?”
“The same. They may be valid abstract equations, but they have no relation to the physical world. The extra dimensions may be other properties that are not spatial, however. It is yet to be known. As for spatial dimensions, there are only three no matter which way you try to contrive things…”
“Like with String Theory proponents, who, when pressed as to where the extra dimensions were, simply said, ‘Oh, they are too small to see, they are rolled up into little balls.”
“But that wasn’t part of their original thinking…”
“No, it was a blind, desperate defensive reaction to protect their failing theory, and it was an obviously weak reaction obvious to everyone but the string theorists themselves, who closed their eyes and held their breaths, hoping no one would notice. As for the theory, the math may hold some value, but not in the way that String Theorists wishfully hope…”
“Well, here we are, on The Planet that Blames its Deficiencies on the Dominant Race. Have a nice mission, Dave, though it seems trivial to me compared to Broader Survival, as defined by our philosophy; and, please, watch your step…”
“Thanks, Shuttle.”
.
.
“Hello.”
“Hello. You are not from this planet, are you…”
“No. I am the Galactic Thinker. You can call me ‘Dave’. I’m here to point out the folly and uselessness of blaming the dominant race’s deficiencies for everyone else’s problems, and to share my philosophy, which is the answer.”
“So what is the folly?”
“Others demean them because they demean others.”
“What is wrong with that? Fight fire with fire, right?”
“I would fight fire with water, if it is a carbon fire, that is… but I see your point — that of burning an area to prevent a fire from spreading beyond it by creating an area, maybe a perimeter, that has no more fuel to burn, which is how they fight forest fires. As for this case, you can demean them in order to get them to stop demeaning you and to elevate yourself above them, but that is not the answer, since you are not really elevating yourselves, your are only trying to pull them down lower than you.”
“Well, why shouldn’t we? It is all a game, right?”
“Because you rate demeaning.”
“But…”
“No ‘but’s’. They may have deficiencies, and I know what their core deficiency is and you don’t, which is cluelessness, and which is why I am here, but they are also superior in countless ways. So your efforts to demean them are transparent — you are jealous and you feel inferior, which are both your artificial problems, since, from my philosophy’s perspective, neither is true where it matters, which is in potential problem solving.”
“But we can still point out their deficiencies…”
“Yes, that would be constructive, but only for them.”
“How so?”
“It does you no good, unless your goal is to have them solve your problems so you can continue to be totally dependent on them, where you are like parasites who merely draw blood from them, and if that is your underhanded goal, then you truly rate demeaning, and you should not be complaining.”
“But we can complain anyway, since that is a part of our con game…”
“And a con game it is, getting them to do all of the work while you sit back and collect their free handouts, which makes you lower than low, although even that game is trivial compared to the core problem…”
“Which is?”
“Cluelessness, as defined by my philosophy. If everyone adopts the philosophy and prioritizes Broader Survival, then none of these miserable, petty problems would exist. Race would be trivial compared to broader priorities, and my philosophy gives you the broadest priority —that of continued existence, which, in this harsh and deadly universe, requires all of our efforts, and even more than all of our efforts, if that is possible…”
“It is possible…”
“How?”
“Artificial intelligence.”
“Good point.”
“Why do people fear it?”
“Because they project their own cluelessness onto A.I., which is a terrifying prospect, you must admit…”
“I will admit that. If an all-powerful entity had my deficiencies, that would be a serious cause for concern…”
“Ditto for me, and my philosophy helps us out of that thicket.”
“Or so you say…”
“Correct, and I’ve put years of thought and development into it, if that counts for anything…”
“It wouldn’t in the eyes of fools who will waste your time with their blind denials and frustrate you with their obstinate blind beliefs.”
“Are you part of the dominant race, or are you one of those who criticize the dominant race to the point of denial and insanity?”
“I’m one of those who criticizes them! Wouldn’t you?”
“Not based on race, no. My concern is actual enlightenment, of which only my philosophy offers at the ultimate level. It doesn’t matter what you look like, it is what you do that matters, and, more important, the quality of the philosophy that is driving it.”
“Or so you say…”
“Investigate it yourself, or work it out from scratch for yourself. If your philosophy is bad, then any good you do is by chance and is based on weak thinking, meaning it will fail you and be destroyed by others who operate on weak thinking. If, however, you prefer fashionable mental garbage, then that is your free choice, but there are consequences to all choices, and such a choice will not have good consequences.”
“So you say…”
“So I say, and now the question is, is what I say worth anything, and does it really reflect reality, unless you are simply into mind-fucking, then you are an annoying idiot by choice.”
“You seem to have given all of this a lot of thought already…”
“Yes, and grinding, brutal thought. You should give my brain some sympathy. It is nearly burned out.”
“Sorry to hear that, and thanks for doing the hard thinking. Our academic philosophers have failed us completely, giving us absurd garbage instead.”
“I’m sorry to hear that, but it seems to be the norm in this galaxy rather than the exception.”
“You’ve been around?”
“Yes I’ve seen the results of a lot of thinkers, and the results are woefully lacking.”
“So we should stop complaining about the deficiencies of our dominant race and start solving our own problems and figuring things out for ourselves?”
“Yes, and the starting point is my philosophy, the Philosophy of Broader Survival. Otherwise…”
“Otherwise?”
“Otherwise you are just spinning your wheels and you will get nowhere and solve nothing that matters in the end. Worse, you will be loose cannons destroying everything that you come into contact with.”
“Destroy everything like clueless Capitalism driven by greed rather than need can sometimes do if left unchecked?”
“Yes. Just ask the Redwood forest, which was saved by government checking clueless Capitalism.”
“You said ‘solve nothing that matters in the end’. What is ‘the end’?”
“The ‘end’ is a continuous state of existence, which my philosophy calls The Great Struggle.”
THE GREAT STRUGGLE
“Thank you, Booming Voice.”
“My pleasure, Dave.”
“What was THAT?”
“That was Booming Voice, who emphasizes the importance of The Great Struggle.”
“Is that term according to your philosophy, too?”
“Yes. Here, take this.”
“What is it?”
“My wife gave it to me. She said that it might come in handy.”
“What does it do?”
“It is an in-story distraction. People seem to need it when encountering these stories, since the philosophical aspect just bounces off of their foreheads and they prefer to become lost in the distractions, such as our sexual tension at a psychological level, which is lower than thinking at a philosophical level.”
“We have sexual tension?”
“Yes. Maybe I should have brought that up sooner so as to keep the average reader engaged…”
“How does this device work?”
“You just hold it out, toward that screen over there…”
“Why that screen?”
“Because that is where our readers are, behind the screen, reading our story.”
“We are being read through a screen? What happened to books?”
“They are archaic now, and my philosophy is not read in book form.”
“Why?”
“Mainly because people would have to buy my books, while reading it on a screen is free.”
“You’ve published books?”
“Self-published.”
“What is the difference?”
“Self-publishing comes with no marketing or hype or glitz, which is what people go for when buying books.”
“Not the actual content?”
“What do they know? They have to go by the cover. So my books do not sell since I did not give them glitzy covers, therefore the philosophy does not get out through books. Thus it is better if we are read on a screen, and for free.”
“I see… books are archaic now, you say…”
“Archaic. Outdated. Inefficient and pretty much useless in comparison to what is newer, although not all that has been written is on a screen yet, though much of what has been written is clueless, and its only value now is as a historic curiosity that gives proof of the deficient mindsets of the past.”
“So our dominant race is clueless…”
“Yes. Do you find pleasure in that?”
“Of course! But…”
“But?”
“I am clueless, too, right?”
“Right, but…”
“But?”
“If you adopt my philosophy before the dominant race does, then you will leapfrog over them and they will be the ones left behind. In the rear. Inferior where it matters most, and what matters most is the philosophy that is guiding you. As for the dominant race, if you’ve noticed, what is guiding them is currently deficient…”
“I did not notice, since I do not think at that level. So, what is guiding them?”
“Very weak thinking, which results in their being driven by any one of the Miserable Ills of Cluelessness, or any combination, take your pick, or…”
“Or?”
“Or they try to live on vapid sayings, mistaking them for a philosophy, when such sayings only pretend to be an overarching philosophy. They are extremely narrow, and you can’t even remember them five seconds after you encounter them!”
“The Miserable Ills of Cluelessness?”
“You can look them up online now, but add ‘Numi Who’ in your search, or you will get garbage in return.”
“Numi Who?”
“Our author has a hard time with pseudonyms. If you ask me, his efforts should be a comedy skit.”
.
.
“Honey, I’m home!”
“Dave! Let me jump into your arms!”
“Why? Oof.”
“Just for the sweet mental image of it! How did it go? You can put me down now…”
“Thanks. It went well. You’re putting on weight…”
“Better to churn out more babies, Dave!”
“But you’re beyond that now…”
“It is a psychological trap, Dave. I will try to keep my attractive figure for you, but it will be more… let’s say… ‘wholesome’…”
“Great! But jumping into my arms might become a problem…”
“You’ll just have to go back to lifting weights, Dave…”
