You are a riot of cherry blossoms in your smile, my charming a season of rain-drenched happiness will begin when you arrive absorbing this petrichor after this long wait invigorated me time feels stagnant, but every passing second, I feel more alive
My hands yearn to cuddle your warm face, my beloved my arms ache to hold you, wish for that moment to freeze you have grown up so quickly, a truth hard to accept this unspooling of the entwined lot, the stories we weave
I will keep my Forsythia thoughts unbloomed till you come they will flourish once we drink the sky like it never rained this vivid figment in my mind, this April, split me open like a bud taking away all the weight, feeling rejuvenated, like it never pained
These lines came to my mind just before my son came home for the summer holidays. A bond that keeps me rejuvenated and is a reason to be present, happy, and healthy just for my children.
