You folks might remember back in February that I would be presenting my first story serial for my Substack site; well, this story serial event was a moderate success, such enough that, with the month of April coming to an end and the month of May about to begin, I would very much like to share this great news with all of you readers to my Medium site: Starting next Monday, yours truly will proudly present my story serial presentation, with chapters one to five to be presented all throughout next week! Yes, Doo-Wop On Ice, the original romantic comedy tale, is coming to my Medium site all next week as a five-chapter story serial; if any of you have missed out on all of the storytelling excitement when my first story serial was published on Substack, then you shall have the chance to check those chapters out all next week, and I shall tell you this again as I have the first time: It is a story serial event that no Medium reader would want to miss! Doo-Wop On Ice is the story of a man named Derek, a live-show producer who falls in love with an ice skater named Cassie… Derek and Cassie’s romance blossoms as they collaborate on a new ice show celebrating Doo-Wop music. Cassie leaves her teaching job to star in Derek’s production. Their happiness is threatened when Derek’s boss orchestrates a plot involving a faux pregnancy, leading Cassie to believe Derek was unfaithful. Heartbroken, Cassie returns to teaching, and Derek, desperate to win her back, disguises himself as a teenager to enroll in her school. Through comedic and heartfelt misadventures — including failed serenades, swimming challenges, and art class mishaps — Derek strives to prove his love and innocence. Cassie, torn between her feelings and the chaos, eventually uncovers the truth behind the boss’s scheme.
