TWO TURTLE DOVES (Lyrics) — The Grandfather Ft. Name Tilahy

TWO TURTLE DOVES
They said the heart has no Operating System, But I ran yours on mine: no firewall, no test. I mistook sparks for specs, Skipped the manual, And deployed feelings on sandbox.
You, delicate like the database in cloud. Me, a trojan dressed like a man. I downloaded your laughter, But failed to back up your pain. When you sent pings, I left your payload unread. Bandwidth full of pride and unspoken threads.
We were close, yet so far, Like black and white squared bishops. Spawn into the webhook of love.
I thought loving was like coding: Break it, fix it, push, repeat. But hearts don’t debug so easy, And love doesn’t scale on deceit.
This object oriented approach made me carry More than my load balancer could bear in many instances.
I hardcoded expectations, You just wanted uptime and peace. But I cached all the wrong versions of you, Never syncing with who you were becoming beneath.
Remember our shared folder? You gave access, I changed permissions. Locked you out when your needs didn’t match my mission.
I am sorry.
I ghosted your updates, Refused to patch my flaws. Now here I am — system crashed, flopped! Taking risks, Reading old logs on floppy disks
I kept thinking, “Can we run it again?” “Can we deploy what we once had…” But already we know, Love isn’t a script you rerun with the same broken lines. Now you’re gone! And I’m learning that sometimes, Love is knowing when to close the app. And shutdown the system, Before it drains both your lives.
They say the heart has no operating system, But toxic relationships were once beautiful things Affected by viruses.
[ NAME TILAHY ] I read your patch notes on Telegram, Line by line. Like old letters on rainy nights. When my heartbeat feels like a memory trying to speak.
Yes, you ran my laughter like code, But you never read the comments. You saw beauty in my syntax, But skipped the documentation. The “handle with care.” The “do not override.”
I wasn’t asking for upgrades, just presence. I wasn’t asking for an architect, Just a man with clean hands and honest eyes. But you! You pushed to prod with no testing, Turned our assumed love into a lab rat, Inside a maze of “maybes” and misplaced pride.
My APIs were intact, But you cached who I used to be, Then blamed my growth for lag. When I needed security, You gave me encryption so complex, Even I couldn’t access your heart.
And now you say, “You’re learning.” That’s good. But healing is not a pull request I can approve. Not anymore.
Because while you were building futures On a server I never subscribed to, I was out here- Learning to breathe without backup, Finding wholeness outside your frameworks. Trying to reconnect to other networks.
You mistook my silence for forgiveness, Distance for devotion. But hear this: I did love you and I am proud of the man you’re becoming. But I also love me, and this I am not assuming.
So while you run your updates, I’ll run free and hope like Adele, That I find someone like you.
