Creativity — God = Unfruitfulness

You will struggle without God, even as a creative.

I was given the brief for this youth community vigil over a week ago, but I was completely stuck. No ideas, no direction, just creative block that had me stalling for days. When I was finally asked, “How far with the design?” I realized I’d almost put it off entirely because I couldn’t figure it out.

Here’s the thing: I call myself a Kingdom Creative, yet I was neglecting the one factor that should never be forgotten; God. I’d been trying to push through in my own strength, and for over a week, I struggled. It wasn’t until I traced my steps back, corrected myself, and invited the Holy Spirit into the process that the divine idea finally flowed. And what came out of that surrender? A design I’m genuinely proud of…one I still glance at and smile about. 😅

I also came across a timely video during that season that helped me retrace my steps and do the right thing. God is good. ❤️‍🔥

As creatives, skill and talent are vital, but without divine guidance, truly impactful work will always be a struggle.
