I Got Sick…Again

This was such bad timing…

I was really looking forward to Saturday.

The plan was to hang out with my family, go out to eat, and then go shopping for groceries, so that we would have enough food for the coming storm that would be arriving this Sunday.

And then I woke up on Saturday morning, wiht a sore throat, and my body feels slightly warm.

So that ruined my plans for the day.

I haven’t gotten actually sick in a long time. It’s been years.

I’ve gotten allergies only, but getting sick…wow, it’s been forever.

But man, the timing was awful.

I was excited to go out to eat today, and now I’m stuck writing this…upset over this sudden developlment.

I did hear there was some kind of sickness going around at the workplace, and I guess it was inevitable for me to get sick.

The last time I got super sick was back in college…so yes, it’s been a damn long time.

I’m at a 3/10, so at least it didn’t hit me that hard, but I’m worried it could get worse.

I ate only yogurt for lunch with strawberries thrown in, because it was all I could find in the fridge for me to consume without my throat feeling it. My family is planning to go to the store anyway, so I’m going to ask for oatmeal, and other stuff that is good for a sore throat.

The funny thing is that I had watched an extreme gory horror movie last night…it was like the calm before the storm, I guess.

Now I’m planning to work on college homework as I feel slightly off.

Hopefully it won’t get worse…because I’m not in the mood for this.

Getting suck really sucks.
