Texas Sucks Because it Went MAGA

But Wait, There’s More!

They forgot to list the state dish of Texas, and it’s not BBQ! Hint, it’s Chili with NO BEANS! BBQ is number 2, and TexMex is number 3. Also, any food that can or can’t be dipped in batter and fried and/or covered in gravy is acceptable.

(Fun Fact: Austin is the state capitol, not Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio.)

NOW UNDER REPUBLICAN RULE:

Texas sucks! The MAGA movement is tearing apart our once mighty state. The state Governor Abbot and company are tearing our old ways apart and making criminals out of citizens and especially old people! The Repubs are forcing laws that never existed in the state’s history. They are making old people out to be criminals. But of course they worship the “old demented man in the WH.” And the Nazi Criminals he associates with.

1. Paying in Cash is now against the law. Cash is verboten in today’s Texas! Cash transactions might get you noticed for suspicious illegal activity! For crying out loud, Texas! You are starting to suck big time!
2. Prescription errors now make criminals out of the uninformed. It’s no longer allowed to sort your prescriptions into a commonly used pill organizer for the old and sick. Every prescription must be in its original container that is properly labeled with instructions.
3. Anyone that falls for a money scam online can be charged with a crime, even if they are the victim! They can be charged with “assisting cyber crime!” Whoa! Just when online gambling is taking off like an Elon Musk space rocket!
4. The Texas government is now telling seniors to clean and maintain their own living quarters or face eviction! Ostensibly in their own home! A broken fire alarm can get grandma evicted from her home!
5. Seniors are being singled out for “vision and night driving” if over 65. Old drivers now have to be “certified for day and night vision” to drive yearly.
6. BINGO! Seniors may have their weekly Bingo nights cancelled. The Texas carpet beggar government want’s a share of your bingo money! WTF???
7. No more feeding stray animals or birds! There’s a fine for it now. Sheesh! They don’t even care about our beautiful pets and kindness for abandoned animals that few people can afford to care for now. You may, of course, feed and water your own pets. Thank Texas for that! The lawmakers generously are OK with donating to shelters. But for heaven’s sake, don’t use cash!
8. Jury Summons? Texans now have to acknowledge online the receipt of a jury summons that they got in the mail. Mandatory logging on to a computer site to acknowledge receipt of said jury summons is required.
9. Gifting or paying cash is now a crime in Texas. I don’t have the acceptable MAGA retort for this idiotic “law!” Anything you spend $100 over is now supposed to be reported to “authorities.” No, helping your friends out with groceries or “cash loans.” All cash transactions are now assumed to be “drug or other illegal” transactions!
10. Skipping a doctor’s appointment without rescheduling can get you a “home health inspection!” I think they have adopted crazy as a way to fuck up the citizens of this state.

It’s not just the Feds, you now have to actually MTGA! Make Texas Great Again! Hint: Texans are being governed by total nonsense Republicans. Please vote them out, ya’ll!
