  • Public Investment in Early Research: Since the private sector often focuses on profitable areas, governments can fund the early, risky stages of cure-focused research.

Correcting the Record and Changing the Narrative

It is true that the pharmaceutical industry operates within a profit-driven system, and sometimes that system delays or distorts public access to cures. However, saying that Pfizer has never cured any disease is historically false and dismisses decades of genuine scientific contributions.

The issue here is not that Big Pharma hides cures, but that the world hasn’t yet built a system that rewards curing diseases as much as it rewards treating them. Fixing that imbalance is the real challenge.
