Almost Stranded, By Choice, On Planet Koboh!

The struggle is real!

So lately, I’ve been spending time with Star Wars Jedi Survivor and it has shaped up to be one of the best Star Wars games around not to mention the many successes that have come before, but I digress!

I’ve been spending a lot of time on Planet Koboh trying to get everything not nailed down, it hasn’t been that much of a challenge, in mind, but there are obstacles that still impede me.

Now, after doing some research, I seem to recall that I have to come back to Planet Koboh in the not-too-far future.

Okay, before I go on, it’s worth mentioning that I didn’t want to just come to a planet, hang around on said planet gathering everything not nailed down then have to put my treasure hunting on hiatus because “you have to come back here later because of……”

Sucks, I wanted to avoid that this time around. When I played through Fallen Order, every planet had to be explored twice except the Inquisitors’ joint and Ilum.

I partially don’t mind this, but I kind of do. I’m feeling like now that Survivor is going to have twice as many places to explore in the known galaxy, it’s going to get increasingly hard to try to keep a lid on my patience as far as where I have to go back to and when.

Hell, I thought Dagan Gera was going to have to wait until I was a little stronger, but I took him down with ease. The trick, block his saber strikes to break his defense then follow up with some counters of your own. Don’t get hasty, Dagan has one good arm and his skill is still sharp enough to cut you to ribbons. Patience, distance, and tough love is the key to winning the battle.

I’m loving the game and all, but now I’m sort of getting to a point where I’m ready to go on another mission with reckless abandon. But I’ll tell you what I am doing, I’m searching every nook and cranny for valuable stuff and if I’m being completely honest, there’s more stuff to find in this game than there was in Fallen Order.

This means now I have to work 3x harder to cross my Ts and dot my I(s) so I can 100% the areas. You know, it’s not hard to 100% any of these areas, you just have to be thorough about the things you find. Not a problem for me.

I’ve been all over Koboh and right now, I’m feeling like I’m at a standstill with certain areas which, I guess, should be an indication to me that I should be moving on for the time being even though I have to validate some sources to a couple of rumors but I guess as long as Koboh doesn’t become uninhabitable, I can come back later and do so.

I really want to go back to Coruscant and 100% it, it’s just sticking in my craw. I’m on my way to Jedha to see Cere. I think once I get off of Koboh, my sense of logical reasoning will return as far as not wanting to stick around for whatever reason.

Overall, Star Wars Jedi Survivor is a great game, and let it be known that it is right up there with Fallen Order in the aspect of excellent everything all the way around.
