Meet the partners building Midnight’s decentralized identity

The Midnight network is building a privacy-first decentralized identity layer based on DIDs and zero-knowledge proofs, enabling users to prove facts about themselves without exposing sensitive data. Ecosystem partners are jointly developing both the core infrastructure and real-world applications: Midnames is creating the did:midnight method, a name service, and verifiable credentials with selective ZK disclosure; Identus is deploying a verifiable data registry, multi-DID interoperability, and developer tooling; while application partners are putting this identity stack to work across compliance, governance, finance, and trading. Triple Play enables private KYC and attribute verification, ClarityDAO brings confidential DAO voting, Creditcoin explores proof-of-humanness via verifiable credit history, and Webisoft and Fluid Tokens apply private identity to dark pool trading and collateralized lending. Together, these efforts establish a new model for digital identity on Midnight — user-owned, interoperable, verifiable, and programmable by default, with privacy built in rather than bolted on.

Imua’s December 2025 Recap

In December 2025, Imua advanced toward mainnet with key technical and community milestones. The $DOGE staking backend was completed, $BNB restaking logic and oracle adapters were implemented, and slashing protections — including a veto mechanism and ratio caps — were added to safeguard restakers. Performance and scalability were improved via stress tests and UI optimizations, while governance-to-EVM integration and airdrop scripts were finalized. On the community side, Imua hosted a livestream with MONALLOAI, enhanced the TickerTycoon game, and launched regular Discord game days. Looking back on 2025, Imua hit major milestones quietly: support for six native tokens, a stable testnet, 40+ external validators, a CertiK audit, a staking dashboard, $1M accelerator program, 12 onboarded projects, and thorough end-to-end testing. The year ended with a rebrand to Imua, a $5M seed round, $1B in soft TVL commitments, and groundwork for a protocol enabling staking to guarantee both on-chain and real-world commitments.
